But I think Derek actually believes he has child fans that would be sad to know cool cat is not real
 
I'm sure Cool Cat has kid fans out there. We see it as crap, but little kids who like cat things might just see a big funny cat, I dunno.

That said, kids are better at discerning crap than people like Lindsay Ellis give them credit for...

I don't think Cool Cat has any kid fans. The only fans he has are adults who are enjoying him ironically.

Hmmm, is Cool Cat in any stores? I can see Derek being crazy enough to pay stores to have it in their racks in the Vegas area. I wouldn't be surprized if a parent picked it up without really looking, and it became one of the dvds which are cycled through, and now it's on Prime, it might get stared at.

Has anyone seen the latest version? Are Maria and Butch in it? They must be around 17 by now, so if they're in new scenes sprinkled throughout the movie, it must be pretty awkward seeing them zigzag in age...

None that I know of. I can't think of any that'd even carry it.

Someone told me there were some new bits in the latest version, but none of these had Maria or Butch.
 
I don't smoke but I would fucking blaze it 24/7 if it meant getting my hands on one of those trophy's.

It seems that the "new movie" is mostly recycled scenes with some new ones thrown in so that he can essentially sell the same movie twice.
