I planned to do basic stuff for day #3, but escalated instead. Hope you still like it, although I was only inspired by it. (The snout is way broader than I planned on) Yeah, I‘ll get back to the basics eventually. And the shadow placement is extremely off bc I never decide on a light-source and just go wild.

Why should I do anatomy studies, if I can do anthropomorphic skeletal hynea/wolf things. If I didn‘t dislike furries so much I could probably draw their stuff.

Day 2 has been fairly productive even if i just filled 1 page. I still have the impression that when i do body drawings the figures still look really stiff, but despite the obvious bad execution, there is improvement. I still need to do a lot of improvement on the arms and legs, but one step at the time.

Also, bought a new sketchbook. With only 8 pages left on this one i better have the next one ready for the next week. Also, i really need a scanner.

I know and some aquaintances already encouraged me to make some small strips in order to get my stuff going, even if it's something small and not really impressive. But i'm such a fucking retarded tryhard that wants to do proper justice to my idiotic ideas. That and the knowledge that it will not garner any sort of attention really destroys my will to actually do anything since i know that the highest chance for someone to give me a pat on the back are 4 autists on the internet. For now, i've been focusing on character design, even if things are not amazing. But like i say, one step at a time.

Finally drew the cannibalistic wildebeest for day #4 - have had that idea for a while, but it was going nowhere. Although I try to avoid it I used tracing for the pose in this one.

my mom's birthday is coming up next week and she's not really the materialistic type, so i decided to draw her something for her present. i'll be rendering it in sai later on today, and if the local printing company here obliges i'll see about having it done as a physical print for her to keep, because a sketch on notebook paper is pretty fucking ghetto.

second pic is the reference used.

Another day, another one for practise (day 3). Wendsday is usually my big drawing day so i decided to try something different for the full page one and i left some work done for tomorrow's drawing (sorry if the quality is really shitty). I didn't fully draw the wings on it because i need a lot more references for those.

I wasn't expecting that a pure graphite pencil would be that good for shading, but i'll keep it in mind.

One of the things i did some time ago is draw a few of my favourite lolcows. You can start with something similar just for laughs. Get a pic of Terry Davis, CWC, Tommy Tooter or Chantal and get drawing. Even if it's terrible, it will be hilarious.
