Yeah, but i either make them too small or too horrendous. It's a matter of practise until i find the method and then perfect it. But first, i need to find the proper proportion.I think pretty much everyone struggles with hands.
I know what Gambesons are, but i thought those also covered the arms. Maybe i'm that autistic about armors or get too caught in my own retardation, but i know that they are padded jackets that were used mostly as under protection for heavy armor.I've shared this with friends and they've all said the same thing! Fabrics are a bit of a strong suit for me, since I like to draw loose clothing. I appreciate it all the same (the vest is called a gambeson, by the way).
As for your issues with hands... I find that good general rule of thumb is to make them roughly the size of the human face, from chin to brow. Take that with a grain of salt though, since I have long fingers and fairly large hands irl
I also have big hands (long fingers mostly) and i know there is a distinction between male and female hands since men tend to have bigger hands than women. But the thing is that i tend to fuck big time since the get go with the hands when i do the arms (it's been too little since i started doing arms quite passably and even that, i still suck making them too long.
Today's page was done during Josh stream (i like chilling on Friday while listening to Null blabber about retards on the internet) and my initial idea got sidetracked by the realization that i suck massively at making heads from a perspective, so this one ended up with lots of heads from different perspectives.

I need to step up by also adding details, since that's my weakest point when doing this crap. And later i can also work with hair physics to add movement to the figure. I just have so much stuff in my head i get too caught in my planning.
