So I figured since Ben Shapiro's outlet the Daily Wire will be making movies. We should have a thread for their movies in general.

They already have Run, Hide and Fight release for streaming on their website and it has been announced that Gina Carano will Be producing and staring in a movie of theirs. But I am indeed curious how this movie will go? It's most likely will be an action movie, I just have a feeling.

Now from what I have read. Daily Wire doesn't want their movies to be christian or documentary. They want them to be fun movies with no politics. Which I am all for. Basically the movies won't be political, but an actor can say "Biden is a pussy" and don't have to be worried about being fired.

They also want to get into making TV shows too. Honeslty they should get Joel Surnow to make a tv series for them. He is a Republican and created 24.

The Producer who will be helping them is Dallas Sonnier a producer who produce movies such as Bone Tomahawk, Brawl in Cell block 99, Dragged Across Concrete and Standoff at Sparrow Creek.

Basically within the interview. They never talk about politics, but instead the culture of movies. Dallas as talks about how he was always a open conservative and never hid it. Also I do love how they bring up how with the Cinemas now dieing. It leaves room for different streaming sites.

Also they mention about how they know a ton of famous people in Hollywood who have to hide their political beliefs. Maybe these actors will reveal themselves in future Daily wire works?

Also Dallas seems to have certain actors who appear in his movies alot. I wonder if they will appear in Gina's movie?
It would be cool to see other actors who are known for certain things to be casted in Gina's movie. It would be cool, I'm willing to accept anything outside of Woke Hollywood.

I imagine this won't anger certain types of people who have a habit of telling people they disagree with politically to go make their own *insert platform/product here*. Surely not...

On topic, though, whether or not the movies are good or ok or not, good on them. And hopefully if they are meh, that they continue to grow financially which'll allow the quality to improve over time. If that does happen, that might entice some of the stymied talent in Pedowood who are afraid of going against the grain to jump ship, to a place they can go back to doing what they probably got in the business to do: be imaginative. If nothing else it'll be nice to not have diversity slammed down our gullets for the sake of it and more remakes.

Not Shapiro's biggest fan but I can get behind something like this.

I agree. I wouldn't be shocked of their certain people in Hollywood. Who missed just making movies for the hell of it and not pandering to the Woke crowd. You can already see certain actors looking like they want to jump ship already. Could you imagine Daily Wire taking some A list stars from Hollywood that would be insane.

I agree Shapiro lost a lot of respect from me recently. But I want to see him and his company succeed here.

So Gina did her interview with Ben Shapiro.

I would say watch it. This interview really shows how much of a sweet person Gina is.

Also when I was looking at the comments. One of the comments mentions that SNL poardy the interview already. I'm not going to look it up because SNL is garbage and I refuse to watch it.
But is it really a good idea for SNL to do that? Isn't it said that AOC became popular that she did because how Conservatives reacted to her?

Also watching the actual interview. when one watches the interview and Gina talking about Bullying and holding back tears. I can see that making SNL the scumbags that they are.

As much as I detest Ben Shapiro, I hope this studio does well and that the omnipotent payment processors don't just fuck them over completely like they did to Parler and Bitchute.

If Shapiro holds to his promise that these movies actually will remain apolitical and won't be preachy social conservative trash, I'll be very impressed and support this venture.

They should make a movie where Ben Shapiro goes back in time to the 1940s to stop the holocaust but finds out there never was one and now Ben must prove to the modern world the truth of the holocaust with facts and logic.

So the daily wire had their backstage
It was about cancel culture.
It was actually funny at the end when one of the questions from one of the describers to Jeremy was "what celebs are you hoping to get canceled, so you can work with them".

It was funny he started off jokely saying he had made a list. But his answer isn't shocking. As i think many conservatives want this.
He really wants Chris Pratt to be canceled.
I won't lie I got legit a list of ten actors I want to see get canceled and star in a Daily wire movie. So I can't blame him.

But anyways they are going over different scripts with Gina for her movie. It will be a while they said.

Honeslty maybe it's a good thing for Gina's movie to take a while. As that period of time goes on more actors will most likely be canceled by Twitter. Which makes it perfect for them to cast actors for their upcoming movie.

As long as Ben Shapiro sticks to his promise of making good movies that are apolitical and not preachy, I'm all for this.

I know Ben Shapiro's a snake in the grass but he's a corporate neocon who likes making money. There's a lot of money in movies that are actually good and not preachy pretentious bullshit (woke or otherwise)

As Hollywood keeps going turbo-woke, that opens up more chances for Daily Wire. Especially since COVID-19 has wrecked Hollywood's shit.

The Daily Beast actually gave Run, "Hide and Fight" a decent review. It also features a main character of a teenage girl and an interracial romance. The film is basically daring you to call it white supremacist. So it isn't really political, nor is it really edgy as the review states. Basically, its like Die Hard in a High School.

The only thing I can think of is some left wings were yelling that the director was a sex pest, but after defending cuties, they're all faggot hypocrites. Not to mention how strongly they defend their own.

Its kind of hard to know what 'conservative' entertainment is nowadays, because if you try and do something against what the left believes, you're automatically alt-right. So it could mean anything from 'doing what Hollywood won't' to 'Republican Propaganda'.

It seems like the former than the later, but only time will tell. I don't think he wants to do documentaries as he specifically stated entertainment. So you won't see 'Clinton Cash' and shit like that.

I mean people including myself wanting to see who get canceled next seems shity at first. But see that's the thing if we want to see something like Daily wire entertainment to succeed against Hollywood. Your going to have to recruit different actors who were canceled over stupid tweets and similar stuff. Because not only will you have a good story, but also actors people will want to see.

And good timing too. it seems canceled culture has become worse since Trump left office. So you will see more in the future get canceled.

That doesnt mean much. Lauren chen also got a screener. Does anyone know what she thought of the movie.

Some of the bad reviews this movie got were before Daily Wire bought the righta. I know they are making the gina carano film, but i suspect they will continue to buy rights to movies to build a brand like A24 or Neon.

My only concern is that if Brie Larson was a producer of this movie, would certain reviewers hate it because of a mary sue main character and forced diversity.

I havent seen the film, but does anyone know how it compares to "You're Next", "ready or not", or "the hunt"? All of those have the similar premise of resourceful female fights back.

Not that hard. No chance there aren't a huge amount of talented people who either got blacklisted or didn't even try to enter the "schools", heck with modern animation quality you might as well hire a bunch of 16 year olds and they'll do far better job.
