Careercow Dan Harmon - Creator of Community, co-creator of Rick and Morty, and barely functional alcoholic

Nearly every opinion Dan has had about his fanbase and his attitude towards them has completely changed at least since the Szechuan incident or the female writers controversy.

I'm sure he'd have to tweet about his need to resist the urge to punch the screen If a fan bragged about how he chanted in the McDonalds. He got too complacent with the fanbase's apparent "smart and sensitive" nature.

Haven't watched Season 3 of R&M yet, and when I know such a nasty dickwipe is attached to it, I don't really feel like watching it. Jesus Christ, that first exchange alone is fucking rage inducing. What an overblown shithead.

You know, might just be me, but when someone is trying to show off how incredibly acceptive they are of different races, it falls flat when they use sentences like "I have long said that racial people are just as great in any situation capitalism can muster as their more traditional, non-racial counterparts..."

Cause, y'know, this shows that Dan differentiates between "white people" and "the other races" and the core aspect of what he says is that "despite their different race, they can be just as good as white folks".
For one thing, the differentiation does not seem particularly inclusive (since he does think in rigid racial categories) and for the other, it just sounds weird to compare these two categories in such a way.

PS: It sure is nice that the one thing he ever wanted to be asked was to whip out his self-righteousness and wank it to his own awesome self in public. Cause this doesn't look like the standard run-off-the-mill virtue signalling, right?

Yes, that was the show. Dan and Chevy had a rather infamous feud on set. Normally I'd say "well it's Chevy Chase, you get what you paid for with him", but Dan obviously isn't a saint himself.

(Should I post it on this thread too? Half of it is just me talking shit about Harmon. I feel uncomfortable posting my own garbage videos anywhere, but I only do it on a couple of troll sites where I thing people might enjoy them)

Also, I am now taking bets on how long before Harmon gets swept up in all the recent feminist dramas with his own rape accusation.

Self-destructive behavior motivated, ultimately, by self-loathing. Harmon gets successful, because he, like most people, wants to be successful, and resents his own success, because he believes that he doesn't deserve his success because he sees himself as a fat, dumb, racist alcoholic. So he self-sabotages and destroys his own prospects by... acting like a fat, dumb, racist alcoholic.
