Because obviously quality content like this was taking up all of Harmon’s time.

I’m also a little surprised no ones posted any of his weird ass rap videos yet.

I swear if you didn’t know who he was, Harmon’s social media looks like it’s run by a schizophrenic homeless man breaking in to.

Also, looking at his account he was posting about something called HarmonCon2019. Did he actually host a convention that he subsequently named after himself, or was he at a con and felt the need to make a hashtag about it?
I mean .....Isnt he a Schizophrenic homeless man?

Is it possible that there was a copyright/trademark dispute, and that's why Season 4 is so weak?
I doubt it. From what I’ve seen, I think the answer is that Justin Roiland has been getting restless and bored with the show (likely a combination of it becoming way more script-heavy than what suits his style, and Adult Swim being pretty shitty to work with) and he’s been gravitating towards other projects - namely a bunch of video games he’s been putting together.

And if Harmon’s accounts are anything to go by, he’s probably continuing to be a barely-functional nightmare, so it doesn’t surprise me that a few key players might be mentally checking out.

In other words, the same thing as a copyright/trademark dispute

"I always slay it, queen"
Which female writer wrote that zinger?
I’m sure that the brave danger-haired woman who wrote this is trying too hard to reference internet memery again.

This was frequently discussed but Rick and Morty was never funny (i haz low iq hurr durr). Personally, the writing was probably a bunch of quotes stolen from emo kids, plebbitors or from writer’s block. Dan, Justin and the writers are trying so hard to be le edgy, original and relatable to the majority of Plebbit, it just hurts. The show was only good because of PICKLE RICK sci-fi shit they put in.

Rick and Morty also can be easily compared to Homestuck because both medias have been ruined by fans, and their woke, pathetic creators try to revive it.

Rick and Morty is best when it has interesting episode concepts.
Like the one where they go inside the little universe that rick made just to power his car and in that universe they made a little universe to power their planet and in that universe they were building a universe to power their planet.

That creativity was notably lacking last season, and I'm not sure why *cough* female writers *cough*.

I liked how there was a Citadel of Ricks and Morties other dimensions. I thought that was a creative concept.

But yeah, female writers also did ruin the show sometime later.

Love how they act like it's been forever since last season, like bitch, I waited 3 years for the last Venture Bros season and I got 10 quality episodes. I'll wait 3 years again and get 10 more quality episodes. R&M though... they shat out 5 episodes after what? Two years? I wish Justin could do what he wants with it.

Bingo. Pop science and comedy can mesh well in the right hands, and some of the first two seasons of R&M really pulled that off. My favorite episode was the one with the alien parasites that kept replicating and introducing random characters into the family that everyone is tricked into thinking they've always known them. It was both an interesting premise I haven't seen before, and a reason to have a huge variety of random characters appear.

Too bad we won't likely ever see that level of quality again because of Stronk Wimmin bringing us Pickle Rick, literally the absolute scientifically proven funniest thing possible in all universes ever and the reason I quit watching the show, because my IQ is not high enough to comprehend just how funny "I'M RICK JAMES, BI-" I mean, "I'M PICKLE RIIIIICK" is.

Is he still a barely functional drunk? How has he managed not to get metooed anyway and then done the obligatory stint in rehab?

He was metooed last year by Megan Ganz. It didn't derail his career either because he apologized and was forgiven or because he is vehemently anti-Trump. Take your pick

Harmon always gets out of shit that would tank anyone elses career, and has even before Trump. I don't know what it is about him, but he never suffers consequences ever.

Didn’t Harmon want 14 episodes instead of 5?
