Pretty good, but he could have gone in a little harder. Dan thrives on being as condescending and demeaning as possible, whilst hiding behind the veneer of "Well, at least I'm not a heccin ableist/transphobe, right?". It's the same line of argument an alcoholic uses "I may be drunk all the time, but at least I'm not rolling around in the street naked and approaching strangers."

He's a fundamentally controlling person who understands the social faux pas of saying slurs, and uses that indignation as a trojan horse for his own brand of bitterness. It's performative and weaponised so he can control, crybully and ultimately put down others and excuse himself as doing it as a "good person." I'd love to see this fart-huffer do something of material meaning to help people, instead of constantly trying to tear others down and pretend he's providing some positive public service to the world, when it's simply airing his petty grievances through video essay, much like hbomberguy.
 
I came across this fucker on accident, and ended up giving him a view on his latest video. He managed to fool me because the video was actually well put together until the literal last minutes where he throws some "Orange Man Bad" shit. I should have trusted my racism when I saw his MovieBob like physiognomy and clicked off.


What really makes it really bad though in my opinion is the fact that there are good arguments there, but he doesn't actually make them. He could have actually made a decent point about xenophobia and american exceptionalism and the anxieties of the War on Terror failing, of the fear of south americans and foreign hordes, of the issues of the USA seeing itself as some sort of underdog when they literally are the farthest thing from that. But he doesn't, instead he throws a Orange Man take and ends it there seeing it as already self evident enough.

It's particularly bad when he then shows this as some sort of gotcha:

Where he just ignores the entire point of "double deported drug dealer deported again" to play the "they are crying quick burn the constitution". It's particularly bad because it doesn't even mesh well with his argument. You would think he would instead showcase the literal border wall or Trump mentions of military ops on Cartels which would both fit better on the context and mesh with the point he is trying to make much better but no. He went for this shitpost by the White House that actually makes them look correct instead.

This leaf is a midwit of the worst type. A actual smart person would be able to at least make the arguments about WHY Ghosts and Trump are similar. Even if I disagree and think he is a canadian faggot I can sorta see his logic, and I can also see how much of a midwit he is by the fact he was unwilling or unable to make those arguments. His video is 44 minutes long but he throws this out on the literal last minute (technically the last two minutes, but when he drops it there is only one extra minute of video and the other minute is credits) before ending it, acting like it is no big deal when it is and in fact should make for a fantastic discussion.

But he doesn't actually have the balls or the brains to have that discussion. He drops at the last second and runs away, conveniently avoiding have to defend his reasoning or explain himself.
 
The only complaint I had about cod ghosts is that the stonehaven map is the size of a fucking football field

Its been a while since i've thought about Dan. He looks like Jake Alley's doppelganger.
