Personally I'd decribe him more like that teacher who tries to be hip with the kids and ends up being creepy or a corporate bastard's loser son (their's a big shot son is this image), part of the issue is he looks way older than he is and his overall.....wretched manner.

Dan's kind of weird to me, he's cut from the cloth of mackintosh except he's a little more pathetic. This sort of psuado intellectual whose a little too smart (or perhaps someone smart explained a little too much) for his lot in life but not quite smart enough to put it all together. He's kind on like the special needs kid whose smart enough to realize he's exceptional so has to deal with that burden every day.

It's amazing how well he ticks all the boxes of a stereotype without actually being a joke account. It's almost impressive.

Dan does score points at one thing.He's almost certainly the creepiest intentional or not person to ever be associated with CA in one way or another.Lindsay,Todd,Spoony all have their moments but Dan actually comes across as disturbing.Even Bob seems marginally more down to earth.Although that might have something to do with his weight.But Dan actually has that obvious serial killer vibe.I wonder if he intentionally cultivates that creepiness as a way of keeping most folks away or if he just is that way all the time.

I can tell you why.

Most of the troons and loons we cover fall into a few patterns. Some are in it for the prestige, others because they want an excuse to savage other people, still others because of a misplaced sense of justice that blossoms into full-on hubris. There's two kinds, however, that transcend the usual paradigms and stray into the territory of legitimately dangerous, however:

The first are the fucking psychopaths - the ones that will do anything to anyone because they feel completely justified in their doing so based on their own fucking hubris and sense of self-importance. Laurelai is a great example of this one; on top of all the lesser offenses we know he's done, Wesley has fucking raped multiple people. Laurelai's entire MO is that Laurelai is entitled to do anything to anyone because he's so much better than you and everyone else. There is no question that if allowed, Wesley would do infinitely worse than he already has, as we've already gotten a taste of what he's capable of - but thankfully, Laurelai does fear the legal system and fears exposure, which is the only thing keeping the fugly Troon on anything resembling a leash.

The second are the fucking dogmatists like Olson. These are people who are just as willing to do fucking anything to anyone, but the difference is that whereas the psychos will do it for their own inexorable reasons, the dogmatist will do so because they legitimately think they're doing the right thing, and their capacity for self-delusion is fucking infinite. As we learned from Dankest Dungeon, a worldview like Olson's, buttressed by dogma, will inevitably lead one to do ever more horrid things in the name of righteousness. We've already seen Olson conduct false-flag campaigns against a website to try to prove it contains CP to get it defunded, compare pretty much everyone who criticized his buddies in CON with fucking terrorists, claimed that all harassment recieved by said opposition to CON was justified, and he was willing to ally himself with the likes of Laurelai fucking Bailey. Throw in his alliance with the rest of the maniacs of Chez Apocalypse (all of whom are pants-shittingly insane), and you have the recipe for a man who will not just attack and hurt people but does so with the full comfort of his own conscience.

Yeah I read about it, the board was shut down after violating the site rules not to upload anything illegal under US law. Pedos persisted and the board was shut down. Just like any other site. I'm sure that there are subreddits and stuff out there dedicated to "child modelling" that pedos can't resist trying to sneak in CP every now and then. You make it sound like this is unique to only one site that puts up with pedos.

Laurelai, however, did. Now, it is questionable whether or not he knew, at the time, that Laurelai was involved with it, but given past experience and current existing data, it's hard to believe otherwise. A lot of the evidence is circumstantial, mind:

The original /hebe/ board predates the later version that we have a thread on by almost a year. This previous version that was started on 8chan featured, as its headliner and sticky OP, a link to an IRC channel for it, and aggressively had someone scrub it from archive - very curious indeed.

This IRC Channel was IP traced by suspicious Anons, since the board was either a blatant TOS violation, a disaster waiting to happen, and/or a goddamned honeypot (CON and friends were aggressively trying to cut off 8chan's revenue streams at the time).

Most assumed the latter. The website hosted in the sticky was one starrevolution.org, which, surely by coincidence, just happened to share the same goddamned IP address as both Laurelai's personal website (laurelai.info) and SJWiki, which Laurelai fucking runs. I'd link you the image, but Lolcow Wiki seems to be having a brainfart right now and won't let me link to images that aren't mainpaged.

Bear in mind that at this point, more and more Anti-GGers were getting caught as being sex pests/pedophiles/etc, which was doing them no favors, and at this juncture they were kind of desperate to establish guilt-by-association (because that worked so well for them when GG started).

So if nothing else, we know Laurelai is involved at this point, but there's no connection between Wesley and Olson, right? Well, wrong, because around this time it became known that Olson was a guest editor on SJWiki, constantly in contact with Laurelai Bailey via Twitter, and we know from the Crash Override Network Log Leaks that Laurelai and Olson were both involved in numerous false-flag ops against GG-affiliated targets. As if anyone needed reminding of his involvement with Quinn getting TFYC defunded before GG crowdfunded their bills.

Dan even discusses his "8chan is totes cp guys" article "going live" using data from said aforementioned /hebe/ board that Laurelai provably fucking owned in the CON logs. Given how often CON and friends put someone on a literal "enemies list" for later attacks in the Trello Log Leaks, I don't think I need to further elaborate on why it's comparatively safe to assume that if nothing else, Laurelai knowingly set it up, since Wesley's done shit like this before.

Soonafter his article went up, people started to ask really, really uncomfortable questions for Olson - such as why he downloaded alleged CP to host on his own site (censored of course) to frame 8chan as a pedophile haven (especially ironic because CON and friends were covering Nyberg's ass with the force of a nuclear device at the time, and pretty much every website has a small contingent of the NAMBLA Brigade, from reddit to Twitter to 4chan). Dan's argument was that 8chan was GG, and that this meant that GG was totes all about pedophilia, so the fact that his side has multiple pedophiles and sex offenders is irrelevant, you neckbearded shitlord.

The fuck-up got CON to basically disavow Laurelai (ending her attempt to be part of the cool kids' club), and Olson was thrown out the airlock soonafter. /hebe/ was abandoned soonafter the ruse, only to be picked up by actual pedos later, because we are placed upon this earth simply to suffer.

I actually found out about Dan Olson some time ago after taking a look at DStecks' Twitter (to those who don't give a shit, ever since around the time he got his 5 minutes of fame for giving Chris $1000, he's become a typical SJW - swallowed the koolaid whole, spouts the same nonsense as everyone else, nothing remarkable about him at all really other than that time he paid Chris and I've only noticed because it's someone that I used to follow before he joined the cult) - Dan Olson happens to be one of the many cult leaders he follows, and I noticed tweets touching up a two year old video about Hitman Absolution where he bashes it for promoting violence against sex workers because one of the levels is a strip club where you can kill stripper NPCs. So someone in the comments correctly points out that Dan is full of shit because these strippers are as killable as any other NPC and in fact the game punishes you for killing them by lowering your score, as it does with any other goddamn civilian 47 is not supposed to kill. Dan lost his shit over that comment in a Twitter post chain and has activated that mode where he acts like he's so smug and condescending and mocking and totally schooling him when really he's buttmad and buttdestroyed. It affected him so much he made that his background on his profile, acting as if that guy said something totally unreasonable. That comment really stirred him up for some reason, I suppose he... folded as a human?
