To be fair, they gave their sixteen-year-old son a 22 for Christmas, after the guidance counselor called them about him talking about killing everyone in his school. Probably not going to be going after the parents in this scenario.

If anything it shows his lack of understanding of the difference between mall cops and regular cops. Mall cops are frequently third party employees hired out from a security company. Depending on the site and the training the particular guard has been through they can be authorized to do all kinds of things that actual cops can do and you can get in just as much shit for fucking with one the wrong way. Keep in mind this can include use of force authorization to carry anything from pepper spray and a taser to a firearm, powers of arrest and most of the other things cops can do to you. It really depends on the contract the location has with the security company and those particular guards training. Hell on the rare occasion I had to do airport or government facility jobs I was flat out told to shoot people if they tried to force their way into certain areas or tried to get violent or threatening with me attempting to do so. Malls are less likely to have that kind of authorization but you have to be careful with fucking with mall cop types cause its not unlikely that they can taser the fuck out of you and/or arrest you and hand you over to the cops and if you resist you'll catch the same charges you will if you pulled that with an actual cop

Clark getting arrested makes me both satisfied and sad. He probably had autism and hyperfixated on Daniel no different than Isabella did for Chris. He wanted his life to have value by leeching off the hate-clout emanating from Daniel and ended up ruining his life as a result. He could have had value spending time with his family, loved ones, or career. Isn't he only like...20? This is the time in his life to build something for his future. I can't imagine dedicating your life to someone meaningless, ESPECIALLY someone as meaningless as Daniel. What a shame. Simply a reminder to live your own life instead of attempting to be a character in someone else's story. The most Clark's life will amount to now is an addendum in Turkey Tom's Daniel Larson part 2 video.

I'm gonna self reply here, because I think I understand why it's popular.
These people don't do it to be funny, they're fucking clout junkies and they have to adhere themselves as closely as possible to someone who gets attention and farm some kind of social capital from it.

No but the weeners obviously know they can get Daniel to say and do any number of insane things with the right phrase or photoshopped picture. They KNOW he's not in his right mind. And they KNOW they can manipulate or control him. So if they encouraged these threats or did any of the things alleged in the thread they are in some deep trouble.

I say just lock them in the same room with Daniel and not let any of them use their phones or the internet ever again.

I read the first sentence of your post, assumed that I knew where you were going with it, and responded to what I thought you were saying without ever reading the rest of it. For some reason, I thought that you were saying that the feds might go after the weens' parents.

No, I do not think they will especially on a federal level, I think that the state could charge them with impersonating another to the detriment of a person. (Something like that. I think I'm getting the wording wrong) But they'd have to have a lot proof. If I remember correctly, it's the highest misdemeanor that the state has something like a class a which is only punishable for a max of one year in jail and a fine but they usually plead that out or offer probation on those. So... Hypothetically, if the state did charge them they'd probably offer a plea deal like plead guilty and will give you two years probation. The charge they could face is equal to the charges Daniel had prior to the federal ones. And we all see how lightly they handle punishment. (All this is assuming that they did not directly Encourage or have any part in Daniel making the threats that resulted in federal charges and that there was no money or financial transactions that would constitute fraud involved.)
