Is he seriously incapable of multitasking? Why is everything with him such an "end of the world" situation? Its a guy coming to push a few fucking buttons on a fire alarm panel and spray some fumes into it. It isn't world war 3.

The problem with this guy isn't multi-tasking, it's the maximisation of negative events combined with the minimisation of positive ones.
Any bad thing that happens to him is life-ending terror, any good thing is a total fluke and he's still fucked in the grand scheme of things.

That's very true.
I guess a lot of this is a big lesson in what happens when you don't have any control over anything in your life. There's a lot he could have done to at least have some control, but every decision he's made has left him with less and less control. Now he has none and has to run in fear of the shadow of the fire alarm detector man.

All he really had to do was do the opposite of what DSP normally would do. The problem is that he lacks so much self awareness that he can't even look inside himself and say "wow I am a horrible, disgusting person in everything I say and do." Because of this he says that he's just being the realest guy on youtube when "real" doesn't mean do everything you possibly can to make everyone hate you and become an outcast. The dude may be bad at video games but it's hard to believe that anyone would even want to be around him unless there was something in it for them. I've never once looked at Phil and thought "yeah he's totally a nice guy offline. I can see it." Since his entire personality, which we know is not a character at this point, proves otherwise. If Phil wants people to be nice to him maybe he should really do some introspection and realize that he's the problem. He never will though.

Says the guy who brags about his fighting game prowess while getting his shit pushed in daily. Says the guy who constantly bitches about how new games suck and how capcom games take no skill nowadays.

I'm not sure what he expects from MvC games; they are mashers at heart aren't they? It's easier pick up then their main series that's for sure.

I don't know what he expected from a MvC game either. They can be mashers, but if you actually know how they work, they aren't. He just has issues it seems wrapping his head around fighters that he isnt used to.

Also, ST isn't exactly a "good game". It's broken and random as fuck in tons of areas, doesn't make it not fun, its a lot of fun, but its not exactly the pinnacle of what a fighting game can be.
Shows it well.

Phil puts his entire life online so if you follow him regularly then you pretty much know him on a personal level. It's not like he's got friends or anybody close to him who he has the opportunity to act differently around. He's the exact same whiny, entitled beetus blob in his professional life and daily life.

Granted he had John Rambo and Howard, but even then how much of an actual friendship was it?

Fucking astonishing- he showed up late then took a long time to even start working?

How can someone do that kind of thing and claim to run a business????? Kappa

What still amazes me is that this is something regular people get a notice of in the mail and barely give it a second though.

DSP probably had this shit penciled into his schedule from 16 months ago and no doubt it's the highlight of his year so far.

I can't wait for his evening stream when he does a 38 minute long explanation of the intricacies of the fire alarm inspector man.

With Phil's unique storytelling skills I'm sure the excitement of a contractor who visits houses on a daily basis for a living will not be lost on his audience. This is some top-quality material for his prestream and I hope he takes full advantage of telling us how the contractor had to use a different sized screwdriver because someone incorrectly installed the alarm.

Maybe, to spice things up, we'll get to hear the unique story about how the contractor had to ask to borrow Phil's vacuum cleaner to remove some cobwebs from the socket?

I've spent the past several hours wondering what specific model and brand of fire detector Phil uses, because I'm sure he only uses the Keurig equivalent.

Phil is totally going to wow everyone tonight with his explanation of how the fire codes have changed and the fire alarm inspector had to use a blue colored power cable instead of a red colored power cable.

Hype factor = extremely high

Tonight's stream is gonna be off the fucking hook guys, you heard it here first. Make sure you clear your schedules because whether you like it or not Phil is going to go into this shit in detail and its gonna be exciting and you're gonna like it you're gonna be banned from chat.

Make sure you guys do your research before Phil's evening stream and please read the "2015 SEATTLE FIRE CODE SIGNIFICANT CHANGES"
http://www.seattle.gov/fire/fmo/fir...2015SFCSignificantChanges_CouncilBriefing.pdf

"3409 Tire Storage The property line setbacks in the code for outdoor tire storage are being reduced to reflect the challenges in meeting code requirements. Currently the fire code requires a 50 ft. setback between property lines and outdoor tire storage of more than 500 tires. Storage of 500 tires or less will require a 3 ft. setback if the tires are stacked less than 6 ft. high. This is being reduced to more feasible setbacks distances to reflect the density of the Seattle and the limited volume of tires typically found at tire shops in the city."

I sure hope Phil has his tires stored appropriately!
