Cheers are that what Phil gets. When you buy bits you already pay something extra to get 1 Bit- so if you want like 1 dollar in bits you pay 1,20 or so. not sure how much twitch really demands

nice post!
I saw you mentioned this was before taxes and fees. As I understand it, twitch takes a cut from subs and cheers. Unless that has been accounted for and I missed it, does that mean that total is actually lower than it looks?
My understanding is that the cut changes based on tier, so he gets something like 60% of Tier 2 subs and 70% of Tier 3.Twitch takes half of what a sub costs, regardless of what tier that sub is
What do you mean? Phil actually be grateful for anything that he stumbles into as opposed to expecting his wheelchairs to carry him to the grocery store for khet to buy potatoes and "meals in a box" items? Perish the thought. The funny part is he probably doesn't have to beg the way he does. Odds are he'd get these kind of contributions anyway. He could have a better stream, a better environment, probably more viewers. There are plenty of streamers with less of a following who make more than him, and even with him ban hammering and pissing all over his audience they still shell out.
I wonder what would happen if he didn't beg for just like 1 week straight? It will never happen and I doubt he could physically get through a week without begging, but I really wonder if his numbers would be that different?
I don't think I've ever seen a person making $100K/year for a decade (probably closer to $200K-250K in his Machinima days) have less to show for it.Phil's problem has been an inability to manage his money.
Good thing he doesn't make much money lest the IRS comes knocking because I bet some of his business expenses are lower then what he puts into his documents$111.649 before taxes. And when Phil does his taxes, he gets to write off business expenses.
Electricity, monthly rent, business class Internet, however many games and systems he bought, WWE network (he might need to do his wrestling show with Rambo), WWE Champions (under miscellaneous microtransactions), food for DSP Tries It, alcohol for Christmas stream, decorations, etc.
His bankruptcy showed he claims at least $5000 a month on his business expenses. Business expenses get deducted from your income. If he writes that all off, 5000x12 months = $60,000
$51.649 that's basically poor. Those detractors are trying to say he made $111,000? Wrong!

I can't even say DSP is living outside his means. He literally has nothing to show for anything except his JPEG collection. His house and his car have barely touched the priniciple. He doesn't have any fancy "toys" (his action figures really aren't worth shit). He's spent all his money on leases for cars he no longer has and for a CT condo that he no longer owns as well as HOA fees and other just bullshit.
So............JPIG collection? He literally has nothing to show for anything except his JPEG collection.
No, the numbers on cheers and subs don't include anything from after March 2020; they're an estimated average based on what DSP received from cheers and subs between August 2019 and March 2020, so both 3K cheers aren't included. So yeah, I can say that I'm 99% sure the amount he received from cheers in 2020 is understated.Great work @Comma!
I believe the cheers total may be understated. Does this include the $3,000 cheers from BigBWolf and OverpoweredBoone? Those two cheers alone would offset his chargebacks.
Great stuff as usual @CommaNo, the numbers on cheers and subs don't include anything from after March 2020; they're an estimated average based on what DSP received from cheers and subs between August 2019 and March 2020, so both 3K cheers aren't included. Also: I've added the 2020 tips average per late/early stream to the OP:

It's very clear that his (North) American audience/timezone is the most profitable (or autistic, however you want to call it). During the late streams, viewers manage to contribute 78% of what the early stream coughs up on average, but they only need 2 hours and 30 minutes for that instead of 5 hours and 15 minutes.
If you apply those numbers on the early streams, they would raise $220 on average per stream.
