Dave Hopkins - Furry Rape Fetishist

Aw man this dude. When I was reading the Furry Stampede thread, they kept talking about this guy and and I wanted to know more about him. But when I typed up his name on Google, the only thing I got was another comic book writer named Dave Hopkins, who didn't appear to be much of a lolcow. Thank God this thread exist.

Since I've joined the farms, I've learned and read a lot about a variety of lolcows. But Dave Hopkins, along with Sick Nick, are the only ones who make my skin crawl. I mean, Christ, he even looks like a rather nerdy Ted Bundy in the OP's pic. I also find it weird that even though he doesn't appear to be Christian (or that hardcore about it), he still is very much pro life and anti suicide. I wonder why that is. I guess him being pro life might have something to do with his hatred of women (Not saying that all pro lifers are misogynists. Just saying that might be the case of ol' Dave here). But other than that, I just don't know.

I feel awful for his wife though. I hope she can eventually leave him and find someone better.

Dave is Christian. He's just never read the Bible. I also imagine he goes to church very infrequently, probably only for Easter and Christmas. If you read his comic you'll notice he knows absolutely nothing about Christianity that you couldn't learn from watching The Simpsons and the rest he pulls directly out of his ass.

David was raised by his military father for the majority of his youth because his mother walked out on the family. This is pretty much why David is so Christian and conservative (which would clearly explain his anti-suicide and -abortion beliefs) and misogynistic (which explains... 'Jack'). But David is also a massive, whiny, immature man-child. And concerning David's wife Katie, many people feel the same way. She undoubtedly puts up with a lot of shit. A damn dog would be a better husband than Hopkins. But some women are sttracted to bad people. Not bad boys. Bad people. Did you know Richard Ramirez got married in prison by a woman who was fully aware that Rich raped and murdered numerous people and never admitted remorse in his life? I ain't calling David a Richard Ramirez type of guy but he has a lot of bad in him. I just hope he never acts on his desires. Need I mention the infamous LoveLine call? Goddamn did I laugh when one of the show's hosts asked Katie if David hurt animals or not. How ironically and tragically hilarious.

Also, by "Sick Nick" do you mean the retired pro wrestler?

Here we go again.

That's literally been a thing since before Bonnie & Clyde. This isn't news, motherfucker.

I ain't calling David a Richard Ramirez type of guy but he has a lot of bad in him.

Yes you did. You want to eat your cake and have it too? Then wear it.

I just hope he never acts on his desires. Need I mention the infamous LoveLine call? Goddamn did I laugh when one of the show's hosts asked Katie if David hurt animals or not. How ironically and tragically hilarious.

That's not funny, you trollshielding sociopath.

Nick Bate, look him up. Given your apparent choice of heroes, you might like his music.

He posted another preview for his self pity project today

And I found another remixer

I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate.... you know, good stuff. Weird stuff. Unsettling stuff.

But his comics have some kind of 'eldritch' quality to them, that makes me cringe inside, more than I like to admit. Some part of my hind brain advises me (in very unlikely case that I meet him in real life), that I better should have a fully fueled flamethrower at hand.

That picture is either

A) A furry about to be crushed.

Or

B) An anime as fuck energy blast.

I think that's supposed to be Dave, which is hilarious cuz it looks like he drew himself with boobs.

@ofalltheplacestobe Stop posting and lurk moar. You're obviously not familiar with how this place works and too full of yourself to know better.

Mommy issues
it's like the opposite of daddy issues (but just as bad)

I finally got done reading part 2 of The Wall. Somehow, it made even less sense than part one.

Dave seems to be saying that his OC/fursona Drip is his bad side. In other words, shit everyone already knew. Also shit no one cares about.

Is Jack like when Chris drew himself fingering Megan and said it was "to stop [him] from doing something worse to her"
Like Dave has to draw this shit to keep himself from going out and raping women? If so, that's pretty fucked up
Also hasn't Dave came out and said "Yes, I would rape women if it wasn't illegal"

I agree that Pt 2 of The Wall wasn't as good as Pt 1, which I actually enjoyed from beginning to end. Dave's interpretation is drifting further away from the original story, and I think he is struggling to draw inspiration from the "weaker" songs of the album. The Trial should be interesting.

So I went to Pholph.com to see if Dave's tribute to Turandot had updated since I stopped reading. It hadn't. I didn't have high expectations for this arc, because while I love the first two acts of the opera, I absolutely loathe the third act, and could only hope that Dave would change the ending into something more suitable for Hell. By the way, the princess' grandmother? In the opera she was raped, but in the comic Dave only had her killed. Huh.

Here's a little something I found in my bookmarks: When Bob Met Lisa, originally published on Pholph.com forums. I've also located the non-canon Jack/Central porn comic, but I don't think you want to see it.

The Wall is definitely one of Floyd's more uneven albums, partly because it's mainly a movie soundtrack and partly because Roger Waters was going through a serious period of being a narcissistic little bitch at the time. No surprise Hopkins would gravitate to the more edgelord songs.
