That's an Iconoclast-quality profile, right there. (The young version from Icky's yearbook, specifically.)

The couple at camera right/stage left -- a young-looking woman, seated, with very short dark hair, and a huge hulking guy with long, straight dark hair and glasses -- are Dave's friends/enablers, Candy and Ryan Dewalt. Candy gives some forced disclaimer at the end about why she was laughing (her laugh is an extremely high-pitched "Eeek," which can be heard during his song). She's the one whose fursonas are Trixi and Vinci, and who draws the "Vinci & Arty" strip and cameos for Jack. Ryan's fursonas are Tet and Arty, and he runs, or ran, www.pholph.com, the server that hosted Jack and its forums.

i imagined he sounded like beeblefoxx (a guy that does saladfingers-esque parody videos) but i'm surprised he doesn't sound like a complete serial killer.

You know, the one where another artist loans him her character (Silver Blue) and he has her character rape and mutilate and get raped and mutilated a bunch. It also has the rape colosseum his fursona jacks it to, that's probably going to get edited out if he ever puts this arc back up. Not only is there a twin tower in hell, but I just noticed a 9/11 victim is in hell for jumping out of the tower/suicide.

Aw, this was one of my favorite arcs. :oops: The chick lives the last day of her life over and over again, unable or unwilling to break the cycle until Jack ex machina steps in.

I know you guys don't like Dave, but I don't think he did the thing he was accused of a while back, and the reason I say this, is because after he made the journal about talking to his lawyer and took down Kate Comics, Fallen vanished off the face of the internet, I used to talk with her on AIM and she was gone for a few weeks. I didn't know why and thought maybe his lawyer had contacted her or something, but for me, the case was pretty much over and I had dropped it like a rock. Then suddenly out of nowhere she messaged me at night (while I was asleep) and she LASHED OUT at me, dropping the F-Bomb and telling me to never speak to her again, calling me a liar and a coward, and saying that I shouldn't have said anything about it in the first place. Yes, maybe I shouldn't, I offered to expose her story back then, but I have later learned you can't take somebody's word for such accusations without solid proof like chat logs/emails/Skype conversations. I don't know what happened to her during that time, but she said she deleted all of her accounts "because of me" and I told her bluntly "tha fact that you made a CONSCIOUS decision to delete your accounts, is not my fault!" and I told her I'd still be here if she comes back, but I reminded her that back when I told her that I told kate to hold back the story, she guilt tripped me by saying things like "I thought you were my friend" and "nobody ever believes the victim" so I posted it. And she left the suicide not on her deactivated account and told me "nobody cares about a dead person". Back then I could understand she was upset, but I will not forgive her for lashing out at me and blaming everything on me, so after she lashed out at me, I just said FUCK IT and deleted everything related to it off my blog. I know Encylopedia Dramatica got screenshots of it, and they can keep it, becase I will never republish it again. Fallen told me the reason she flipped out was because I left a comment on Dave's journal saying I don't have any beef with him, and that pissed her off. I don't hate him because of this and I can't force myself to hate him or anybody who haven't done me wrong, but she expected me to hate him as much as she does, and I just can't do that. And if someone had done something to me, I wouldn't expect my friends to hate that person either, but I told her I'd still be here if she ever comes back online.

Moving forward, I had recently come in contact with another girl who Fallen claimed was dave's next 'grooming victim', who shall remain nameless for security reasons, and I sent her a note and asked if she had any contact with Fallen, and she said the only time she had ever talked with her, was after she made the suicide treath and asked if she was ok, but haven't spoken to her since, and I told her everything that had happened during that time, how she lashed out and deleted her accounts, and everything just seemed very fishy to her too, and she told me she have had chat sessions with Dave, and he haven't pulled ANY of that shit on her, and I have spoken to him a few times myself, and not ONCE have he come off as a sleasy rapist calling me names. She also said that Fallen had put her name in her Journal as Dave's next "victim" without her consent, which didn't sound right to her at all as she had just met the guy.

I remember someone who reblogged a lot of Kate Comic's post under the name Unholy Virgin who had the EXACT same icon as Fallen Celestial on Tumblr long before this incident happened and expressed her hate for Dave, and when someone can't keep to one account and constantly deletes them to make new, just seems very suspicious to me.Why am I writing this? I was gonna keep silent about it, but it's been two months since I last heard from her, and I'm not holding my breath for her to ever return. I'll still be here and whatever happens, happens.

The post in question. This is from Razor Rabbit, the person who dropped the info on kate in the first place.

This confirms my suspicion that Fallen was lying out her ass about being involved with the FBI. These are not the actions of a person who works with law enforcement to catch predators. It's typical lolcow behavior. At this point I feel we can't trust anything Fallen has said about Dave, assuming Razor is on the level, which she seems to be from my observation.

Oh, yes, totally. But making up shit like this about him damages the credibility of anyone who might have actual grievances against him, since they could be painted as being just like Fallen Celestial and just trying to sling mud.

I really don't understand why people feel the need to make stuff like this up. It does way more damage to victims of harassment when it's proven to be a lie.

Based on her actions I think Fallen might be genuinely mentally ill. Not an excuse, just an explanation.

However, there's still plenty of evidence of Dave's poor character. The Loveline call is the most damning. His interviews where he states, in no uncertain terms, that he is aroused by rape and hates women, also prove our point. I have heard, through the kate tumblr, that Dave has slept around at furcons but have never seen any evidence of it, so that's up in the air.

Oh man, this guy. I remember liking his stuff when I was younger because I thought it was so edgy and cool. I grew out of it, thankfully, but I do occasionally look up the comic just to see if Hopkins has gotten any better at storytelling...which doesn't seem to be the case.

On the topic of the Fallen Celestial update, just damn. I know Hopkins is an unpleasant person, but that's no excuse to make up accusations against him. You're doing just as much harm to yourself as to him, because the moment everyone finds out you've lied, your credibility will be questioned if something serious does happen to you. I don't want to doubt the victim, I really don't, but sometimes I have to because this shit keeps happening.

It's still possible Dave did do something nasty while chatting with her, mabye she was doing some kind of "catfishing" that took an unexpected turn? I say this because he still shut down his FA account before anyone said anything about what happened, and his journal of his side of the story (now deleted) had plenty of holes in it.

The user name "unholy virgin", I think I know who she's talking about. There was a user that frequented Kate a lot, her username was more like "Iamyourholyvirgin", and she also said she was a childhood abuse survivor. Her username stopped showing up on kate some time before this drama strarted.
