His lawsuit is dead on arrival because he filed it before he registered a copyright.
He also apparently doesn't know when a copyright is "registered." PROTIP: it's when the Copyright Office either grants or rejects the application. Fourth Estate Pub. Benefit Corp. v. Wall-Street.com, 139 S. Ct. 881, 203 L. Ed. 2d 147 (2019).

This is usually in a few months, although it can exceed three years on rare occasions, but there is also an expedited review process for people in a hurry, such as eager litigants. However, no matter how eager they are, they can't just jump the gun like Mr. Stabby has.

Leave it to Stabbins to make redditors look tolerable.

Lawkiwis - does transcribing the proceeding live count as "recording" as it is a written record, or does this refer to audio and video only?

It only affects the Media
Court Rules affecting the Media said:
No journalist or member of the public may photograph or record any court proceeding under any circumstances.
Thanks for the heads up and the sources! Guess I'll mark my calendar for the 14th, as 2PM in California is late evening for me, so a time where I have little better to do than checking in on autists appearing in zoom court.

Thanks for the heads up though, guess I'll mark my calendar for the 14th, could be funny after all.
Re:your citation.

Yes, my bad, it doesn't only apply to the media, but the rules still clearly state that you are allowed to use electronic devices to transcribe.

Something to also note, is that your line only appears in the description of the order, but not the order itself
