I don't know why people always assume companies actually delete user-generated data (at all) except under very (legally) specific circumstances. Unless keeping a given pile of data is a legal dumpster fire or the data is legitimately useless (old internal system logs, etc.), companies are always inclined to keep user data indefinitely. Storage is cheap (even at the enterprise level where costs are amplified by storing everything in triplicate) and it's often cheaper than devoting resources to periodically prune old data.
I have no idea if true or not, but pretty sure the 30 days thing is coming from them directly. They could be lying sure, but that's what they use as an excuse whenever a hacked channel gets their catalog deleted. Past the 30 days after deletion, they cannot restore the content.

If nothing else this will be good to see how accurate this is.

"Cannot" is what they claim, but in reality it's more like "do not want to." Arguably not a bad policy since you really don't want people getting in the habit of expecting Youtube to restore a channel deleted a year ago. But I seriously doubt they actually delete any channel data after just 30 days.

They may not be able to restore content. But they almost certainly have a record of user info.

Edit: Acerthorn makes his first Twitter post in ages, interacts with another cow

Despite Twitter saying there are two replies to his post, I only see one

Metokur has finally talked about our beloved Were-Turkey on Thanksgiving
A bit disappointed, I have to admit. I thought for sure Metokur would get some nice, deep smoker laughs out of Acer's ladyboy saga but he didn't mention it.
Still a good stream though

LOL he lives in a tiny crackshack that has been split into apartments or rooms. He's apparently smack dab in the center of downtown Harrison-the Boone County Courthouse is only 3 blocks or so away, which is very convenient for him since he doesn't have to take a bus or ride a bike to file his lolsuits.

Yeah it will suck for Null to get drowned in lolsuits asking 900 gorillion dollars for having this thread. Somebody needs to connect Null with a reasonably good attorney in Arkansas who can file the dismissal motions. Other than that, this tard definitely merits watching. There's been several megalulz worthy cows pop up recently, which is a nice departure from the boring regularly scheduled autism we've been enduring for a while.
wow @ the DOB this guy hasn't aged well, i suppose being miserable ages a person.

Do you think the wereturkey will get what he wants? Unaware that he might have sabotaged his lawsuit months in advance?
We don't know if it was actually @ZellZander who deleted that account (in which case they might have some info) or if they actually did delete it as per Acerthorn's request.

Either way, I hope they join the suit like the last time and make his life miserable

Acerthorn might have gotten in some trouble:

Wow, I have seen a lot of dumb shit on this site, but this may be the dumbest shit I have ever seen.

And yes, shit like this can and will be used against you. Who but a guilty person would act like this? They can use it just to make you look like a piece of shit. Obviously you could object as to relevance, because it really isn't, but you still look like a gigantic dick.

So maybe the jury hears this shit and then gets told to disregard it, but they've still heard it. They're looking at you. They're thinking "what a fucking dick."

Only an absolute autist would think this was a good idea.

To be fair, that goes for any of his statements. If I was the PD representing him in a case I might ask the judge to bind and gag him just as a prophylactic measure.
