He would never get through Canada's immigration system. He's on the dole, doesn't have the money, he's got, and never has had, anything to score the points he would need on the immigration application. It's not any easier to get into Canada than it is into the US.

Change his name to something like Preet Mindalu, put on some fake tan, and say he has diploma to be a nurse from the University of New Delhi.
They'll dump him in some community that needs PSWs, tell him his education is worthless here but he can take an upgrading course at a college.

With his legal run-ins I think there's a good chance he'd be stopped at the border as a tourist, even. Canada can be pretty anal about some of that stuff. Even a DUI leaves you banned for life (well, after ten years they don't usually show up on the checks they do).

The Pajeet portal into Canuckistan is through student visas and that kind of becomes an anchor for relatives if they can snag another type of visa after.

You are absolutely correct and for a minute I went full retard and forgot that he is a mentally ill psychopath that stabbed a person and was really just considering his financial and educational merits, and the restrictions on those are loose if you know where to look. I did a managerial stint over in Northwestern Ontario for a while, and they are so desperate for bodies that can do menial labour and nurse delegated duties in the healthcare system that the government happily looks the other way, some of the agreements were 'Work for this sponsor company (which is usually low tier community care based for profit companies like VON, Bayshore Home Health, Revera Home Health, etc) for X years and you can stay'. Obviously the immigration landscape is different for different places in the province where the oversight is more scrutinized and or in other provinces altogether.

Immigration law is intentionally self-serving, so it does make sense that if they need Healthcare workers that it's a much easier way in. It's got to be tough to attract workers when the US is next door and at current exchange rates pays 28% more.

Luckily, mold-boy isn't going to be a healthcare worker ever.

It's really important that the Court understand how loudly he is yelling in his legal filing. That will help ensure that the Court treats this as the serious legal matter that it is and not as the annoying nonsensical screed that the Court foolishly thought would be ripe for "settlement."

I'm not even sure if I'm being sarcastic at this point. When this moved to Cali's central district, basically the first thing the Court did was say "please for the love of God just settle this thing," but the hits keep coming and they probably won't stop coming until David has $11,800 teed up over the next 1.5-2 years.
