Only drama I'm aware of is between him and Cornette. Corny sperged out because Zane said that there's a place for comedy matches in wrestling (srsly). Zane made a response video defending his position while intersplicing clips of Corny calling black wrestlers niggers. Cornette seriously deserves a thread here. He is exactly like the internet marks he complains about. Only difference is that he did work in the business

Hate to go off topic, but what’s the deal with Zane? I’ve just seen his videos recommended by YouTube. Is there drama? Or is he just a cringe mark?

I remember a couple years ago he was part of some collab group full of other internet wrestling channels. Supposedly he was partly responsible for getting Kevin Scampoli ostracized (and possibly getting his original youtube deleted) because he wasn't politically correct enough.

He's also a massive woke autist on Twitter. He's better than Bixenspan, but that's not saying much at all. He at least has a basic knowledge of wrestling pre-Hogan.

Don't forget that one time he "borrowed" a ton of mid-80s Mid-South Wrestling betamax tapes (which IIRC those shows are now lost media or locked in somebody's vault) to make copies of, then never gave them back and claimed they were destroyed in hurricane Sandy. I'm sure other tape traders from back in the day have more stories about him. If you ask him about Merc's Mid-South beta tapes he blocks you instantly.

Love that someone brought up the Mid South Betamax tapes. The version I heard was some guy had had those tapes since he was young. Bix learned about this and for years begged the guy to send them to him "So i can transfeer them properly to VHS" . Finally to shut Bix up the guy sent the tapes. But the deal was Bix would send back the tapes and would not sell copies. No idea why but the owner of the tapes didn't want anyone making money off them.

Tapes got sent off and Bix blocked the owner on AIM and every forum they were both on. Few years later Super Storm Sandy hits and Bix starts talking about how "the biggest tragedy of Sandy was I lost all my wrestling tapes." Seems by this time Bix had transferred the betamax stuff to DVD-r and had a few people selling them.

I gotta agree there. I listened to his Between the Sheets podcast years ago and Bix was able to rattle off random ass trivia about any territory, no matter how small, and it never really felt like he was reading from notes. The man is just that spergily obsessed with blurry tapes of faux grappling.
