I read today people were asking James Gunn if the guy ass raping the dude in the cell next to Lex Luthor in Peacemaker (apparently this happens?) was Killer Croc. I guess Killer Croc must be the nigga version from the Suicide Squad movie in this DCU also.
It's Extrano and Tasmanian Devil, yet another case of him puffing up literal who characters like GotG wasn't lightning in a bottle.

hyped to watch the new peacemaker specifically to see what happens to the fat dyke niggress inevitably getting dogpiled by nazis

That was probably the first great episode of this season.
Though I can't see how episode 8 would lead to Brainiac after seeing its preview, Apokolips makes more sense so far.
Edit: The voice of reason gay guy, and attempt at social commentary was quite retarded. Still a fun show to watch when drunk

It’s not just that old fashioned heroism can be cool, but that having high morals and doing the right thing is incredibly hard and often thankless. And often it doesn’t feel “good” or is not even “cool”. Yet, true heroes choose to do it anyway.
Problem really started with Hollywood as it was the first to misunderstand heroes of any genre including superheroes. As most actors, writers, directors and producers have felt heavily restricted with doing the straight laced lawful good hero. As opposed to the villains and anti-heros where the restrictions, if there is any, are removed leaving the writers, actors, and directors to do whatever the fuck they want with them for better and for worse.

Fuck they had to kill Earth X Auggie, I love anything Robert Patrick is in.
I would almost agree with this but damn Scorpion sucked the ass juice out of every tard with the continental U.S.

Just read the second issue of Batman 2025. Don't worry, the series is shit, after all, got worried for a moment that it would be actually good like Dark Patterns or Batman and Robin Year 1.
The main star is Tim, but everyone including Bruce is an ass towards him for no reason, he's a fidgeting mess unlike his original persona in a pointless flashback where Damian is even more of a brat than usual, an EEEEVIL white cop shoots him for resisting (despite standing here and doing nothing at all) while a good black cop argues that's overkill and police brutality shit, then the white cop shoots the black cop because lol-evil in a way it seems the heroes attacked the two so now Vandal has a reason to hunt the Batmen, Bats says that his car is the "coolest car ever" because it has 15 gears, etc.
It reads like a fanfiction of the franchise. Which is what has been going on since the 08s, I would say.

Iirc Killer Croc is like canonically black
His name is Waylon Jones, so that checks out. I watched Suicide Squad when it was new with a date who asked me later on at my house "is the killer crocodile always a nigger?" and I laugh about that from time to time and make any excuse to bring it up.
Lex makes a comment when he sits down to talk to Flagg and says that there is a "Bear-Sized man with dragon skin buttfucking a glowing twink with cartoon eyes." in the cell next to him. Playing off the whole I hate Meta-humans thing.

People online think its a reference to Doctor Phosphorus and Killer Croc
  • A "bear-sized man with dragon skin" (Killer Croc)
  • A "glowing twink with cartoon eyes" (Doctor Phosphorus)
Honestly probably was written as a one off joke but weirdos got to ruin everything.
Tbh I looked up the clip after I posted that the other day, and the line itself didn't land for me because of Holt's Lex. If like Kevin Spacey or Clancy Brown's Lex Luthor delivered that exact line, it would have probably made me laugh my ass off because it's such a ridiculous line for a guy like that to say. the more I see and think about it, I just don't like Holt's over the top Lex. That one scene of his from Peacemaker he's a better Lex Luthor than he was the entirety of Superman, but he still doesn't feel like a movie character, he feels like he's stage acting.

It’s the confidence I think we all discussed earlier, Hoult’s Lex lacks it.

Also Lex doesn’t cuss, he’s a man of culture.

The problem with Nazis in modern media is that you'll always see the same pop-culture Nazi depiction everyone is familiar with. They're basically the generic evil bad guys that are okay to kill. When was the last time some sort of pop media did something interesting with Nazis or fascists?

The real-life Nazi regime didn't annex every single land they conquered; they also established puppet regimes with their own flavors of fascism/Nazism every once in a while. This happened in countries such as France, Croatia, Slovakia, etc. If Germany ever managed to topple the US government (which is basically impossible), they wouldn't occupy it but set up a friendly regime that would develop some sort of American Nazism/fascism, probably with heavy Christian influence (similarly to the Silver Legion of America). They have so many options, and yet they went with the most boring one.

If they really want to do a cartoonishly evil Nazi regime in the USA, why not base it on the Atomwaffen Division or one of its offshoots? They're so ridiculous they have their own lolcow thread. Not even other neo-Nazis like those guys. I don't think anyone has done a "Neo-Nazi equivalent of ISIS" before, so that would be interesting to watch.

And if they want to have a more realistic Nazi puppet regime instead, then why not have the Nazis conquer the UK? Despite being almost as unlikely as the US getting occupied (naval invasions are hard), it's still a lot more believable and not as overdone. The British Union of Fascists is right there to lead the pro-Nazi puppet regime, but I doubt they would do it since the suffragettes liked Oswald Mosley, and that might upset the writers and the soyboy audience.

Because that requires imagination and thought, which writers like PedoGunnn lack, and they want to use the NAAZIS as an excuse to shoot you, the damn white male who's not a leftard.

The show is a dark comedy. I’m not at all bothered by how Gunn presents Earth X. There’s a lot of people who are critiquing Adebayo’s line that “there’s not much different about Nazi America and the America [we] live in.” Which is stupid because no neighborhoods in this universe are chasing down a black woman for walking down the street. But can we not have a show where a character says something that’s just ignorant? We do hear people saying America today is “fascist” which to me is stupid.

In the end the show is fun to watch. That’s what I want from my capeshit.

Okay. To confirm: Gunn presents an America that is clean and low-crime because it is run by Nazis. And he presents a downside to the Nazi America of it having dull music? Please understand, I really, really don't want to watch this crap but I want to be sure that what I'm surmising is actually real. Because if it is, that's hilarious.
I don't know what bugs me more; the fact that it's been done before or the fact that the liberals think our country will transform into a utopia if we pulp all the nonwhites and jews

The problem I have is that they aren't fun villains any more, they're not ridiculously cheesy like some classic Indiana Jones shit, they always just want to do the jew-hunting guy from Inglorious Basterds except without any of the charisma because lord forbid a nazi villain has any of that

WARNING: MASSIVE SPERGING INCOMING WITH SPOILERS

You can sum up peacemaker S2 into the major pros and cons like so in my opinion:

Pros:
-Cena’s surprisingly good acting. Killed it especially hard this episode.
-Eagley. Self-explanatory. He’s always been cool.
-Earth X Auggie being a great person. Surprised by this one but it makes sense. Sad he was killed.
-Vigilante acting autistic with himself.
-Keith. Glad they gave him a good identity of his own.

Cons:
- Our Harcourt. I’ve hated this cunt from the beginning though. Can’t balance the tortured soul aspect with the shit attitude well enough. Also seeing a 5’5 skinny non-superpowered blonde beat up giant dudes easily is so retarded
-Judomaster. Chink faggot stereotype plot device. Not much else to say. Still don’t get what his “powers” are unless it’s just martial arts.
-Obvious on-the-nose political faggotry. That Nigger Gunn isn’t even trying to be subtle either.

And depending on how you look at it:
-Economos. Mostly comic relief lately, his jokes don’t land for me but might for others.
-Adebayo. Good person and likable in show, but writing wants her to spout woke bullshit. Probably bothers some more than others.
-The cops and the task force agents felt more like pure plot device in this episode. No investment in their scenes whatsoever. Idc about any of these faggots at all anyway. Assuming they’ll be featured more in the finale. Idgaf about them but maybe others do.

Sperging over.

Alfred Molina Lex could and did make it work.

If Gunn really wanted a funny, more adult Lex, Robot Chicken gave him the perfect template for it.

Cyborg lady still hasn't done any cool cyborg shit. She better cyborg out in the last episode or else that setup happened for no reason.

His superpowers IS just martial arts
and eating cheetos? solely surviving on sustenance from cheetos?

keeping it simple.

whats your thoughts on Fleury throughout the season?

To be fair, Jennifer Holland clearly works out and lifts weights. She's about as muscular as a woman of her shape, with very low body fat, will get without steroids. Because it is violent fantasy tv, I could see her holding her own in a fight if she went really dirty, going straight for the throat/eyes/ears or used weapons. But the bar fight shit where she was just beating up random guys was so stupid it was boring.

Adebayo sprinting for several minutes, then climbing a fence and jumping in a pool for no reason (other than to set up the entire crowd getting electrocuted) was a bigger suspension of disbelief.

I don’t much of an opinion on him. The bird blindness joke was kinda funny for a minute.

Also I thought Judomaster had some goofy ass ability to transfer his kinetic energy into his opponents? Buuut that’s probably just nerd talk for “he’s using momentum”
