-Earth X Auggie being a great person. Surprised by this one but it makes sense. Sad he was killed.
This was my favorite twist of the season, the fact he was a good person in spite of his world, and not because of his world, was more nuance than I expected once the reveal of Earth X happened. Looking back with it in mind does lead to some interesting observations, like how none of the Top Trio's suits feature swastikas.

Oddly confirmed he became a supervillain in the first place because of society ignoring black on white crime.

That isn't how I read it. Main Universe Augie, as I see it, is just a terrible person. Blacks didn't make him be a abusive shit head to his kids, Blacks didn't make him force his kids to fight for entertainment until one killed the other, that was all him. Racism is just a justification he uses, a way to make his actions seem like they have a point. If he had been born in Earth X he'd probably be a part of the Sons of Liberty or some other resistance group, anything to justify killing people.

....bruh. "I'm on the suicide squad overthrowing a country so some aliens don't get deadnamed on reddit" is literally a plot

At least they accidentally admit Troons are basically aliens?

To anyone who watched Gunn Superman, whats your thoughts on this?

Why would anyone want to read that?
The best part is it's completely irrelevant (of course). He comes completely out of nowhere to say he's trans (like they always do so at least it's accurate I guess), and then later everyone in the gay alien town is shown to love him everytime we see him and he has a temper tantrum trying to defend them from a bunch of white racist rednecks who he slaughters by the dozen. There's not a single hint anywhere of the poor trans goddess being bullied.

So they tried to pull a "tRoOnS aRe sooooo MiStReAtEd" while literally at the same time showing how cool, loved, and totally normal he is. That page is immediately after accidentally blowing that random guys brain up he just starrs crying and goes "trans btw". Also somehow the absolute strongest person ever and overpowers the rest of the team despite his power being "I can travel through dreams" he can somehow punch people so hard they go to sleep which then allows him to teleport around, shoot magic super dream power which even stops Bizarro, and is also the one person Amanda Waller is terrified of and desperately needs. Not to mention he's drawn as a slim, hyper feminine sexy model instead of like literally every troon in existence.

Peacemaker season 2 finale was today. Seemed weak as fuck in my opinion. 10-20 minutes of the episode are dedicated to, I shit you not, live concerts they got into the show. Gunn loves his music a bit too much. The comedy in peacemaker has always been meh but this finale episodes humor was just total shit.

It seems to be (poorly) resolved in a concert scene, but the Bitchy harcourt character is still unable to admit she loves peacemaker. It has been played out far too long. The fat black chick had a heart to heart with her ex-dyke lover. Yawn, boring, that scenario has played out twice before. Barely any eagley (always an L). The cyborg chick switched sides and pretends to moral grandstand when she’s really just being a pussy bc the end goal for ARGUS was to make a metahuman prison from one of the door dimensions.

Since it’s presumably ended; show was 4/10. Both the action and humor hit only occasionally. The only great point for me was John Cena’s surprisingly good acting.

Opinions? Thoughts?

The Peacemaker series finale sucked major sweaty ass, even most twitter capeshit fags hate it. Maybe James Gunn should've relied on cheesy cameos this time around.

I'm fucking done with awful cliffhanger endings when there isn't another season or continuation announced at this point, shit could be a 10/10 show and it would drop by 3 points in my book because you decided to have it end on a shitty cliffhanger with a potential of no continuation.

Not that this was a 10/10, mind you, show was spinning its wheels for a good period of time, we still have plenty of unresolved threads from prior episodes like Earth X Keith still being alive albeit heavily wounded, and so much of this episode's time that could have been spent elsewhere were literally just live concerts. Not going to act like the first season was high art but man this was a pretty big drop off.

I'm convinced the only people that like Gunn's DC shit are massive faggots.
I’m one of those faggots then and I did think this finale sucked. Totally anticlimatic.

Gunnverse Ranking
The Suicide Squad - 7/10 - Stupid mindless capeshit. Fun.
Peacemaker - 8/10 - Fun capeshit, interesting plot, good acting.
Creature Commandos - Didn’t watch it
Superman - 7/10 - Felt like 3 episodes of a tv show, I liked the characters.
Peacemaker Season 2 - 6/10- Disjointed, shit cliffhanger ending.
