To be more serious about the Game and its Mechanics for a moment, this has been bothering me for a long time so I feel like mentioning it here. My most hated mechanic in the game are Flashlights, not just because they are annoying in game, but also because lore-wise it just seems incredibly stupid to me that they are basically the main "attack" Survivors have against Killers (besides dropping Pallets), it's like you've got this big hulking behemoth of a Man carrying a person or chasing somebody, like how much sense does it make that they drop everything, and can't even move when they get flashed in the face with a Light? The whole concept irks me, and just feels insulting all around. It also ruins certain Survivors even more for me, like Alucard of all people running around with a Flashlight, any time I see something like that I die a little inside.
If I had my way Flashlights would basically be removed from the game entirely, and replaced with some other form of attack that Survivors would have available to them that would make more sense for stunning the Killers in the Game. Preferably something that is different for each Survivor (Like Bats or a Sword for Alucard), and it would also help make the different Survivors feel more like their own individual character, even if the attack is just a slightly different skin for different Survivors. And Lightborn would be changed to something that counters stunning attacks from Survivors. I know it will never happen, but I just wanted to vent a little about it.
The only way I can rationalize the Killers reaction to the Flashlights is that they are Magic Flashlights or whatever made by/from the Entity that are incredibly physically painful for the Killers to look at directly.
