Honestly I loved 3 and 4 and the other terrible ones mainly for the monster designs and I cling to anything SH. I will never get over them killing Silent Hills. It was just going to be so perfect (FUCKING JUNJI ITO WAS WORKING ON IT TOO). Hopefully Kojima and Del Toro can cook us up a game similar to what they envisioned.Silent Hill for sure. I would sing from the mountain tops out of pure joy if ever the series produced a game that could match the perfection that is Silent Hill 2.

At least they got us that super cool pachinko machine, r-right, bro?![]()
On a seperate note I wish Dance Dance Revolution was as hype as it used to be.
Nah dude he left this past October so its been about 5 months. He just recently started his own studio. Konami screwed him over bad.I still liked three. I've tried getting into the room but Ive been a computer game basically my whole life and the room was really wonky trying to walk around when you were able to leave the room.
I thought Kojima left Konami a year or so ago?
I'd love another isometric Fallout game in the style of 1 & 2, another Myth, and more of the Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale RPG's by Bioware. I've honestly always had a really hard time adapting to the full-3D versions of games that used to be in isometric 2D style, and I'm a firm believer that graphics are best used to help the viewer visualize a scenario within their own head, instead of used to create a photo-realistic environment.
I want Fallout back.
Not even being a NMA-fag here, but the difference between 3/4 and NV is striking, even with 4's improved controls.
To be honest I think F-Zero is sort of a weird one for Nintendo because of Captain Falcon. Every time they release an F-Zero game they also have to dangle another game that would be awesome in it's own right (Captain Falcon running around and being a Bounty Hunter). I would absolutely play a game where it was like GTA but you're captain Falcon running around futuristic cityscapes capturing Bounties and occasionally racing in F-Zero.F-Zero is the one that I'm pissed about. Why on earth won't they make another one, if I remember correctly, Miyamoto stated in an interview that he didn't think that people wanted another one...or something along those lines. Which makes absolutely zero sense, sure it has a smaller fanbase than other Nintendo games, but it always sold enough to be profitably if I remember right, and it still has name recognition.
Have either of you checked out Underrail?.
What's underrail?.
They just need to stop using sci-fi elements so dominantly. XIII and XV's worlds look so generic. A new mainline Final Fantasy like V doing a self-parody of the series needs to happen again. They can get back to the way the Final Fantasy series used to be. They can return to the classic JRPG gold that I loved as a kid. Yes, there hasn't been one that was even arguably good since X. Yes, there hasn't been one that was unquestionably good since 7. Yes, all of the ones they've released in recent years have been less enjoyable than a razor blade condom. All of this is true. But I'm sure if we wait patiently, they can make a good game again. Maybe even one where you can guess at the gender of the characters on first glance.

I know that this probably won't count, but fans have done some really damn good stuff with Open BOR. Specifically, there's a fan made Streets of Rage 5.Streets of Rage. One day they will anounce Streets of Rage 4.
Thank you. I wanted to say something like this, but didn't want to touch off a spergfest about the FF series. They can get back to the way the Final Fantasy series used to be. Every time I'm reminded of this it hurts a little more. At least Eternal Crusade is going to be kind of similar gameplay wise.It sucks that they decided not to make the entire Space Marine trilogy. The first one basically took Gears Of Wars shooting/melee/cover system and lit that shit up. It was a mind blowing, visceral and stupidly OTT shooter, every mechanic worked perfectly (jump packs and grav-hammers ftw) and it had a great protagonist. Then THQ took a nosedive and that was that.
Mega Man.

Also Bulletstorm. Left on a cliffhanger but never continued because the game didn't actually make a profit.![]()
