The "content" that is missing, such as operations, was worthless garbage made to encourage skintrading.
The "content" I was referring to is the numerous maps and select gamemodes missing from the base game, retard.

Yes, CS2 has a terrible cheating problem, just like every other version of Counter-Strike, and just like TF2 has, and just like Deadlock will have should it become popular. Its an unfixable problem, unfortunately, but not a problem made worse by Source 2.

I've played some bot matches on the hardest difficulty with the intention of working on some sort of farming pattern and working out the spawn times etc. Anf I noticed that the bots were always ahead in networth, even the guy I laned with three deaths within the first 8-10 mins.
Does anyone know if the bots "cheat" as part of the difficulty setting?

On the hard difficulty they pretty much have aimbot when it comes to last hitting and denying souls. You could be in the middle of a team fight and they'll just casually deny creep souls while shooting at you.

I wonder if this is the sole reason.
Even tho I killed the bot I was laning against three times, he was still four thousand souls ahead. He had roughly the same amount of net worth as all the others but me.
The auto aim thing I've noticed for sure.

I'm 15 matches in and I'm still getting matched against retards that let me deny their kills every time. I've been stomping for the last 5 matches or so.
I guess there are too many new players currently.

But even though, I'm still having a lot of fun. I'm trying all the characters, there are still a handfull to go, but almost all of them were fun in some way, they are all really well designed.
 
Been having fun playing as seven. Too much fun, hes way too overpowered against newer players. The common complaint is with his ULT but really he has insane poke. His stun has a shorter cooldown now too so hes much more useful in teamfights. The ULT is pretty easy to counter with a stun or just leaving LOS.

I've seen most people build around his ULT but that kind of seems like bait. I mostly build around his gun because it's really good at getting early kills in lane and farming jungle.

Not only that but there are so many leavers. So many games wasted because 1 or 2 people leave within 5 minutes of gameplay. Probably a mix of them not knowing it's a MOBA and the dogshit performance. I haven't had struggles with performance like this since I started playing tarkov 4 years ago.

I had a really bad performance until I set literally everything to low, now it runs perfectly smooth. It's not like the game looks good as it is anyways.

He seems like a pubstomper, with an easy stun and the strong as fuck ult.
I enjoyed how fast it was to farm with his 1.
 
It's just ok. The game didn't click. The combat was clunky and the mechanics were too complex. It's Overwatch, minus fun, plus needless mechanics.

Absolutely is a pubstomper. If im playing against noobs ill build spirit for his ult and get the game over with. An easy tell someone knows how to play against me is if they just wait to deny my last hits early in lane. If so I build a more gun oriented build which is really good for running people down in teamfights.

I tried the beta and uh... It kinda sucks.

Like it's well designed well, the UI is interesting and well presented, map is interesting, heroes are cool but...

It's trying to mix 2 dead genres (hero shooter+moba)band it just doesn't work. Moba players want to minmax and strategize, and shooter players want to shooty shooty bang bang.

Moba players will be frustrated that the numbers/build doesn't work because they can't aim, and fps players will be confused that they shooty shooty and deal no damage.

OW was a good compromise between moba and fos because as a shooter guy you could shooty shooty and still deal damage, but you could also engage with the mechanics.

This is too in-the-middle and while it won't DoA, a lot of people will not like it because the shooting doesn't feel satisfying, and moba players can't aim.
 
It's pretty fun but I think it's going to be a total sweatfest once the game is fully released and metas are established; so it'll stop being fun. With the amount of mechanics in play, skill ceiling seems extremely high.
Yeah, if it could be played like TF2 where you just turn off your brain and slug it out until the pub-push, this would be a really fun game. Maybe there'll be a mode like turbo where you can go a lot more crazy, but a game centered around competition is just asking for trouble.
If you want to be competitive, you need to understand the core concepts behind ASSFAGGOTS and not already be heavily invested in DotA or LoL, so i don't really see who this game is aimed at.
It's pretty clear that valve wants the valorant-bucks, much like they rushed out Artifact to cash in on the hoards of cash Hearthstone was making.

They should've made an arena shooter rather than ANOTHER hero shooter.
New IP or a Deathmatch Classic revival, either would've been fine.

I don't know how to stop this. It's driving me insane.
From my experience, if you wipe the enemy team, you must kill the mid boss and (maybe) carry the urn, and only then push the base.

By killing the boss you make sure that the enemy team won't be able to counterpush, because your team will have faster respawns and zipline boost. So even if you lose a teamfight badly, you can regroup to have another one extremely fast.

Also you get fire rate boost, but by the time team fights start, guardians and walkers already melt really fast so it's not that useful.
 
I didn’t realize a friend of mine had invited me to the Alpha 2 weeks ago. I ran the tutorial and did a Player vs Bot match this morning.

It’s interesting, It feels like there’s always something to do. I’m not sure I’ll put 800 hours into the game (like I did with DOTA 2 a decade ago) but I do want to play the game more. I bet it’s a lot of fun with a good group of friends so I guess I need to stop being a loner.
