But seriously, open up one of the driving videos and take a good look at where these idiots live: affluent, white, New England, semi-rural, minivan (and Land Rover and Volvo station wagon¹) suburbia. These kids have never suffered hardship or hunger or fear or any such distressing things. They haven't even had to do much hard thinking in their short, soft, self centered lives. They are the epitome of sheltered. So it's no wonder they try to fill their uneventful, meaningless lives with foolish fantasies and have no real concept of any consequences for their actions.

Now that's not to say everyone who lives there is also stupid, naïve, and selfish like what Jace is. Doubtless Jace and his adult créche mates are only a small percentage of the population. However the more sensible people in the environs are just that: sensible enough to avoid them. And without much interaction with normal, rational people is it any wonder the fools flock together?

Plus Jace has no father figure and Gail is a pushover. If his dad was still around I'm pretty sure Jace would be very different.

Jace is mentally ill, though, and we don't know his diagnosis or if the illness runs in the family. Nurture can only go so far.
 
It's not about the gender of the parent or the marital status or anything else. It's about the quality of the parenting...and that's where Gail failed (Gailed?) Jace. Obviously I'm simplifying things a bit, and there's certainly other factors that weigh into Jace's behavior, but being raised by a single mother is not inherently why Jace is the way he is.

Tyce said he ran off with a man, and we know Pastor Faggot had something to do with Gail's divorce. My best guess is he was a hardass on Jace, Gail hated it and PF said fuck it.

That actually would explain a lot. A lot of relationships break when a kid shows mental disorders or autistic symptoms. If I had a dollar for every kid our company transports that has a single-parent household because one of the parents decided that this wasn't going to be their responsibility, I'd be able to pay for quite a sizable number of Legos. It's a crap-shoot if they can get Child Support from half of them. You might think I'm being uncharacteristically harsh here, but an ongoing commonality with many of them is that the parent that left, in 75% of cases, was an asshole who decided that, rather than buckle down in a family crisis, decided that pawning the problem off on someone else was the solution. And it happens all the damned time.

Oh, hey, someone espousing the same thing I heard from the aforementioned assholes who ran out leaving their kids with social/medical/mental issues as someone else's problem, or did so as a matter of convenience. Amazing how there's always someone willing to throw this canard out like it actually means something this day and age, but them's the breaks I suppose.

Well, if Jace's dad ran off with a man, and PF had something to do with Gail's divorce, that would seem to indicate a scenario something like -

~Daddy is in the closet, probably for religious reasons.
~Daddy marries Gail, possibly as some kind of bullshit pray-the-gay-away "therapy."
~They spawn Jace.
~Daddy can't take the pressure of being in the closet AND raising a 'tard baby.
~Daddy splits with his on-the-side boy-toy.

This is pure speculation of course, but I think it fits the facts so far.

Tyce is hardly a reliable source, though. Yes, he's better than Jace, but that isn't saying anything. I'm more hoping for a reliable source. It's a shame Jace's immediate circle of associates (I wouldn't really call them friends) are all such twits, and everyone else around him is disinclined to discuss him with the internet.
 
The posts in this thread have consisted of:

  • Tangentially related or entirely unrelated Youtube videos (I'm getting really sick of this forum-wide btw)
  • Shitty photoshops
  • 12 pages saying the same circlejerking shit over and over again
  • Some kind of pissing match about parenting

If this doesn't change, I'm locking it.
 
Regardless of the origins of Jace's failures/faggotry (Failgotry?) I think it's pretty safe to say that Gail's permissive attitude has done him no favors. One wonders what would have happened to the litany of nonsense that is Jace's usual schtick if she had just stuck to her guns the first time she threw his ass out. Still, as of this moment he's still a vagrant, so there is some hoping that she learned from her previous mistake(s).

But irrespective of that nonsense, one wonders how long Jace is going to continue trying to manage his government-in-exile at Kyle's. Deagle Nation, by all accounts, is better off without him (though sadly not quite as retarded, but we'll take that as the price of doing business), and increasingly, less and less of his followers (who were arguably all trolls in the first place) are willing to deal with his shit.

It's almost surreal that of all people, the guy he left for dead half a world a way, Eli, is still on his side.
 
DNdeux already has half the amount of members Deagle Nation has, all in a matter of days.

Sadly, Ex-Commander Jace thought my Tiberius Rising chapter was slanderous and disrespectful :(
