@Null I'd like to ask what the fuck you are doing honestly.
Yes, I am aware. You want to host the cool website with people that are scared of nothing. You want to host the cool website where no secrets are shared and where users never share anything about themselves while laughing at spastics on the internet, and boast about your site's infamy. And you know, most of the time, I would agree. We are a website designed to laugh at people on the internet. But saying that people only do that in here is a gross misunderstanding.
By that I mean that people connect with each other. The chat is full of people that like connecting with each other. People bond in private message and talk to each other about threads and random stuff. Sometimes they add each other offsite and they become great friends. People often state how surprised they are to realize that a lot of people are cool dudes here and they end up making a lot of friends. Like it or not, your site is a social site where people bond over spastics acting like idiots on the internet. And that's great, right? You said you loved the prospect of having a site where people connect with each other, no matter their differences. You also stated many times that you wanted this website not to have much infighting, because you said that this is something you loved about this place.
So, tell me why you are hosting a file that is going to generate infighting.
Don't get me wrong: this leak is baby stuff. It's a laughable leak in comparison to the real damage that could have been done. But it's still damage. Some users are affected by this, and as always there can be severe consequences to stuff like this, as much as people like to laugh about it. Hosting this file is further spreading the damage. I'm aware that people will hand the file to each other if they want to find some shit about some people (even if minimal), but that doesn't give you the justification to outright host it. Do you really think in your right mind that asking the majority of the people on this website for a decision like this is the right move, when some people have been here for a day, or a week, or simply hardly use it and mostly watch your streams? Do you seriously think that this is the people that you need to ask this question to? Of course a random exceptional individual that only uses A&H to scream about jews will vote yes. Use your head two seconds. No one in their right mind that has spent any significant amount of time here would vote yes. And even then, allowing this to happen period is straight up stupid.
How you handled this makes me have no trust in you if anything beyond this were to happen, and some people that have contributed to the site for a while now feel the same way. What are you going to do if one day, someone gets access to more sensitive stuff and decides to post it on an obscure filesharing site? Make a sticky that says "lol look this user had the audacity to talk about their shitty work in my private messages lol what a faggot"? Is this really what we're going for here? You out of all people should know what happens when someone finds out that you frequent (or in your case, lead) a website like this. So again, what the fuck are you doing?
There's nothing to win, no point to make, no tough guy points to gain. This serves no purpose except not protecting your userbase, which was your goal since the beginning. You failed, and in a spectacularly bad fashion at that.
