Death Battle - Analyzing weapons, armor, and skills on the Internet since 2010.

Last death battle cast was between Undertale and Slay the Princess and now I find myself wondering, has there ever been an indie game character in death battle (not dbx, I remember a cuphead vs bendy episode there) because I'm totally drawing a blank if there has.
The Princess can solo every character in Undertale.

I'll indulge my autism for a second by saying that I hope they make a Samus episode sometime in the future. I'd love to see who they could pit her against considering nearly every single game she's in gives her some insanely overpowered new ability (that is almost always specific to the situation the game has her in, but that doesn't matter in DB, it seems).

I'm pretty sure Samus vs. Boba Fett(?) was one of their first ever episodes and that's such a ridiculously stupid and unbalanced match-up that I can't imagine why they'd do it in the first place. I guess some things never change. :smug:

Undertale is an extremely weak verse. Basically any human with killing intent can kill all the monsters. Like just imagine if Frisk had an actual gun, he'd just oneshot everyone.
I mean the raw implications of the lore are pretty telling, it would only take 7 dead humans for a monster to become literally god, we already see godlike reality warping power with just 6 souls as demonstrated by Omega Flowey, that means the monsters lost the war so fucking badly that they killed an indeterminate number of humans below 6. The entirety of the war hinges on if they can absorb any human souls before it's over.

It was. The VERY FIRST ONE. And it was remastered. I believe it’s in the OP.

Same with the people who act like Batman wins every fight because "muh prep time"

In all honesty I don't think I've ever seen anyone say that sincerely, it's always been as a joke.

Batman fans really do that shit, they are probably the most insufferable fanbase of any major superhero.
Honestly, the first time I ever heard of “Batman prep time” was in the intro for Batman vs Spider-Man when Wiz And Boomstick said the two of them would only get their standard equipment. And that’s stayed true for every Batman fight they did (except for Batman vs Iron Man when they gave Bruce the Hellbat armor).

The only other thing I’ve seen relating to prep was apparently Batman having something for every Justice League member if they go crazy. Including himself. By way of a picture of his parents.

But killing the humans at all is the catch. Frisk is just some kid but can kill the king of all the monsters. Imagine an average grown man. I remember one of the merchants, the old turtle one, is a legendary war hero for the sole fact that he managed to survive. It's the kind of verse that even you and I could solo without much issue.

That's exactly my point. The pure lore implication is that during the war the monsters lost so badly they likely didn't manage to kill even a single human.

For a hypothetical powerscaling thread, the Vs. Battle Wiki is the gift that keeps on giving with shit like this.

For those unaware, 1-C puts him at "Complex Multiverse" level of power.

Sorry, but this is cope. Mettaton busted a metal wall and Undyne slammed a boulder for fun. Frisk clearly gets Charles Atlas superpowers from DETERMINATION thanks to video game logic.

Ooooh boy…..

What’s the overall win/loss with these “Anime vs Comics” matchups? I kinda think comics has a bit of an unfair advantage given that they’re typically a lot more “lore” to pull from over a 26 episode series.
The ones I can recall winning that were anime/non-comic characters were

Crona against Venom

Stitch against Rocket

Jinx against Harley

Po against Iron Fist

Broly against Hulk

Lucy (Elfen Lied) against Carnage

Android 18 against Captain Marvel

But most of the time a comic character always wins which man I know White Lanturn is going to win since I doubt Simon has a chance

Additional Non comic books wins over comic books:

Amy Rose over Ramona Flowers (I assume you're only talking about superhero comics, but I just added Scott Pilgrim for the sake of argument)

Deadpool vs Pinkie Pie (that was a joke battle)

Crona against Venom
I went through the episodes on IMDB and found this:

The Venom symbiote fused with Edward Brock hates religion and Crona doesn't like that. So the two fight each other and Crona kills Venom with Gangster's Paradise and upsets many people. Death Battle says non-binary rights, we stan.

IMDB is a thing where anyone can edit it, right?
