If he didn't admit to being such a callous asshole and wasn't harming people by his actions (DUI, rape by deception), I'd feel bad for him. I feel mostly pity instead. He's cursed to live as himself day by day, night by night, frustrated he cannot make progress and choosing all the wrong ways to achieve his goals. It's sad to see someone so young so fucked up, and it isn't too late to turn himself around, but as long as he seeks short term big dopamine gains over long term improvement and happiness, he's going to be absolutely miserable.
