You are posting from one of the most bougie liberal areas of the entire country and I have absolutely no idea why you are trying to pass off your anecdotal experience with superior access to high quality groceries in an area with superior demand for such things as things readily available in the rest of the US.

I like this brand.

Sometimes I melt some on the fresh bread that Costco makes.

I think I understand the mentality of eurofags now, they think because the stuff they have isn't mass processed goyslop that is typically seen on the shelves of US walmarts, that means its inherently good.

May I offer the counter, that the reason no one bothers to mass produce your fermented piss shark fin stew and maggot cheese recipes that come from the 4 generations of war in famine in your country is because there is no demand for your shitty food.
How can you understand their mentality if you never actually have had it? The food in Europe is generally remarkably higher quality than stuff in American grocery stores.

I was 17 when I moved to Pensacola.

I've also lived in Buffalo, Portland, and other smaller, nicer places in Florida. I've been to Wholefoods and all that shit and I've never seen any selection comparable to what is readily available everywhere in Europe, even in poorer countries like Moldova.
I'm very sorry that the stores you went to did not contain the Moldovan delicacy of cooked skewered rat, but at this point you're just arguing that theres less variety of europeon food options in a non europeon country, which is like me complaining that theres no mozzerella in Saudi Arabia, a good attempt to shift goalposts though.

Unlike Europe, America (and more specifically the midwest) has cheese curds which are better than any eurocheese I tried (and I tried many!). Bread is better in northern Europe than the US by far though, you can't get good rye without making it yourself or maybe from a Ukrainian deli.

ETA: the US also has string cheese, which is both a crime against nature and fucking delicious when smoked

Like if you've not been you don't even know. You literally do not know what you are missing out on.
but the reason people got incensed is because you said specifically ONLY cheddar, american, swiss are available in the US. im sure most people would agree that some random dairy town in france has the best cheese. saying it is the ONLY place with real cheese is what people have a problem with.

Oh durr hurr I'm Jewsh, I use my cavalier globetrotting attitude to shit on the average American for being about as smart as a handful of wet cheetos FIND A NEW BIT
Great thread, I only buy imported shit from nice local delis which I'm fortunate to have because I live in a fag state

My favorite type of cheese to put on sandwiches and burgers is the yellow kraft singles in the plastic wrapper, i don't care about what europoors think they don't even drive cars

I'm not self-doxing but you're 100% wrong about this. My town is considered a backwater hickville by the other big urban centers in my state.

I reiterate, you're an expat who is talking out of your ass based on dated experiences in the USA.

You are what you eat. And uh .. who wins the most gold medals in the Olympics and has the most overall? Oh yeah, America. We are the Wheaties nation, we work like winners, we play like winners, and we EAT like winners. You ever see fancy European foods at restaurants? Tiny portions. Why? Ain't worth eating a big plate of that crap.

If you're putting the best in your bodies why you putting out third place nigga? I'm sorry, but obviously American chow is the chowiest and most delicious. America has already taken the best that Europe has to offer through immigration. Everything left wasn't good enough to make the cut.

Sad really.

I lived in Buffalo for a year and as far as food stuffs go it's pretty top shelf for UNY. I believe that's also where he learned a bit on how to cook from some old lady (I believe?)

He's just being a brat. More than likely with a big ol' shit-eating grin at the others in this thread taking it so seriously.

yeah homie im sure the entire country is buying more bread, cheese, and demanding local meat more now -- not just buying 90% of their food off fucking door dash and putting it on credit cards while the country stagflates into a death spiral.
