You don’t even need a high end grocery store to get decent food. Kroger/Fry’s stocks up locally made/grown food all the time. Plenty of things are made in the store too, like bread. There’s even a local dairy brand.
yeah thats why the goalpost got moved. jersh got btfo in the mati thread so he expanded the requirements.

Eurofags will tell you that they don't eat trash and then pull out the rotten maggot carcass infected cheese wheel that they only eat after soaking it in rabbit piss for 40 fortnites and blessing it with fermented pig shit
Wrong. They'll be eating frozen pizzas, potato chips, and microwave meals while sperging at you online.

I'm lucky to have access to Minder Meats, and Tillamook is the best large-scale creamery in the USA. There's a few decent bakeries around, but they mostly make desserts instead of proper breads. There is a Franz outlet store on the factory if I really want the freshest possible.

Still agree with Null, though. American food is a shitshow.

>see the cool orange earrings and realize they must all be pets
>pass the local cheese factory
>sign says "Voted Best Smoked Gouda In The State"
>go to the good grocery store in town not the one for the poors
>thank the Lord there is no Walmart in my town
>at grocery store and can't decide on normal Angus steak, grass fed, bison, or an organic variant of one of these three
>settle for lamb instead
>pass jalapeños goat cheese in the deli on the way out and remember how good it is on smoked salmon

This thread is giving me strong nostalgia for the once-omnipresent threads about how America sucks because we don't make anime, sushi, or katanas. Except in those cases the posters were like 12 years old and got all their information from Steve's Zelda Fan Forum.

Meat - If you live in the midwest you can't drive 30 minutes in any direction without running across a local butcher or meat shop. Also if you hunt, or have people in your family that hunt (if you live in the midwest you definitely do), you have access to real venison, pheasant, duck, every year that you can freeze and eat year round.
But he said it was illegal!!! You are running illegal meat shops!!! Or maybe he's full of shit, I dunno.

I think American food for people that don’t live in the US gets a worse rep than it deserves. In countries outside the US, you will only see the highly processed, shelf stable foods in the grocery aisle for “American food,” and the only real exposure to American food outside of that is often McDonald’s. It would be like me looking at the ethnic aisles in my own grocery store and assuming everyone only eats slop because what will often get shipped are the highly processed and shelf stable items.
