I can't prove the meats I have access to are from the big slaughterhouses, but I can verify the cheese I get locally is the real fucking deal because I spent a summer actually working at the place that makes it. Unfortunately I can't share the name because PL, but check your stores for local names they should have the same small production facilities that is in my town.

K but for real, pepperjack is fantastic and any comments to the contrary are delusional, cope, faggotry, or a confluence of the three

Lost me here, I've driven all through the yellowstone area multiple times in a day or so, it's not that hard
Long car travel is only miserable in certain states that are mostly all flat and boring. Nebraska, for example. Its a big flat oppressive nothing of a state where almost everything but the one city on the far eastern edge of the state closes at night. But many other parts of the country are downright pleasant to traverse, with forests, hills, mountains and pastoral farmlands that are all pleasing to the eyes.

The fun thing about Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming, amongst probably many others, is that the police presence in a given area is actually really low, so you can just drive as fast as you fucking please

Our friend @Spunt wrote why this is so, why train tracks are spaced the way they are, and brought it back to wagon wheels pulled by mules in the Roman era.
James Burke did this first, I believe. The roads the Romans left in England had ruts in them perfectly suitable for other vehicles, and since some of them were resuited for trains, trains ended up using the same width. And when mechanization took over, the pre-existing travel routes were just retooled to be used for modern vehicles.

Did you not have a Publix within driving distance in central Florida? Haven't been to one in ages but I imagine Publix has way more than 3 types of cheese.

I've been saying this. He makes fun of Sargon a few weeks back for smugly declaring American food is all slop and touting the qualities of British beans on toast, and yet here he is echoing the doofus and almost matching the intensity of his smugness.
I'm convinced Sargon was being sarcastic in those tweets but people have such a hateboner for him that they couldn't read his british dry humor.

I'd bet money that Josh hasn't actually grocery shopped until he moved to eastern europe. He probably relied on his mom or fast food up until that point

In Spain I went to Burger King, the burger they had, Angus Original Mediterranea, was a whopper with sun dried tomatos, gouda cheese, arugula, and some very excellent sauce. and what's better is it actually looked like the fucking photo on the menu.

Also they had beer

In France, Burger King had the Master Forestier, it had arugula, emmental cheese, roasted mushrooms, wholegrain mustard, and chrispy onion flakes, on a broiche bun.

Also they too had beer
These "local" burgers are total shit, just frozen, overpriced slop.
And the beer they sell there is watery pisswater. I dont know why you would gape over that.

Bread. I was amazed and scared when I lived in California. You could leave white bread out for weeks and it WOULD. NEVER. GO. MOULDY.
While everywhere else I lived bread would go mouldy within a few days if left out.
American bread just can not get mouldy. I don't even want to think about what kind of chemicals they use to make bread 100% mould resistant. Is it even bread at that point?

As for cheese. Josh is 100% correct in his assesment about the cheese situation in the us.

Maybe it's different in very out of the way small towns but I've lived in smallish towns and the grocery stores always had the basic bitch section near the milk where the most exciting thing you can find is shit like muenster or smoked gouda, but they also had the nice corner for things like brie, goat cheese, and more. Baked goods are more hit or miss, some might have shit they make in store but it's not a massive selection.

I think a lot has changed since Null was last in the states, I know a lot of this shit didn't exist when I was a kid and even five years ago most stores were shit with outdated depressing atmospheres compared to some newer chains, but they seem to have all updated their shit a lot before the covid shit happened.

Yeah deadass, I think Josh discovered what grocery stores were after not being able to find a McDonalds in slavland and thinks they're a european thing

Shalom fellow goyi... err kiwis, I can assure you amerimutt meat, cheese and bread are the finest quality of ingredients available and does not absolutely contain any chemicals that may or may not turn you not homosexual, all the food is kosher and ready for consumption of the masses, now stop asking such silly questions and get back to maintaining KiwiFlare

DURRRR, I'm Josh! I only eat the best foods there are. Oh my, I see you are getting low. May I refill your hot sauce?
