What reason is there for him to do this other than to sell the house? He seems to give zero shits about Evan, he now constantly tries to convince people that Sandra was his best friend and whatever but there is audio evidence how he treated her when she needed help to get to and from a life preserving treatment, and how the whole thing went down her last few weeks (even though he now tries to rewrite history).

With how he treated his mother in mind, he pretends for the most part that Evan doesn't exist, I doubt he visits him, so what else could his motive be?
I don't know, it's hard to give Ralph the benefit of the doubt, it is his last living close relative, but by that token why didn't he move Evan closer to them when he was raking in the dough during the YT days?

• You are too close to the situation - Medical decisions in relation to his mother were difficult. Disregarding the vax and "Call you an Uber", he wasn't willing to move her to a nursing home without pressure. Is he able to make them for his brother?

I come on this site to laugh at idiots, but when someone is fucking with kids, disabled people and the elderly that's where things get really unfunny - shit, lots of the Faith stuff is becoming increasingly unfunny reading the leaked text messages. Unfortunately, Ralph is a real piece of work and is probably capable of doing some awful things to make sure his little piggy hands can get some Makers Mark.

With that said, I do not think it would be so easy for Ralph to just take Evans portion of the house and leave him high and dry. Likelihood is that the state will probably recover that property to pay for Evans care, and judging by the fact he has severe cerebral palsy and needs a guardianship appointed, we can be fairly certain he suffers from severe mental retardation. Which is common in people with that condition.

My speculation is that this is a bit of a formality, that upon Sandra's death Ralph probably got a temporary guardianship put in place and is now just submitting the paperwork for it to be made permanent. His involvement after that will likely just be to make sure Evan is in a suitable care home, and perhaps key medical decisions as they arise.

Like criminal charges? This was a fight between white trash that happens every night all over the country. Nobody had a weapon and nobody was injured. I'm no expert but I doubt it knowing what we currently know. If Ralph's insurance company pays the victim off for the value of their vehicle and any medical costs, it looks like Ralph was driving while distracted and just made a mistake. The victim may have their own reasons for not wanting to get involved in a legal dispute. My lawyer said it was a waste of time trying to sue when I got rear-ended by a distracted driver while stopped in backed up traffic on an Interstate. Clearly the other guys fault and it cost me a fair amount of money to replace a perfectly good car that was older but not worth much.
