The campaign arm for House Democrats on Wednesday tried out a new slogan: “I mean, have you seen the other guys?”

The sticker slogan, one of several floated as part of a fundraising effort by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), caused a stir on social media, where many wondered why the party would try out such a self-deprecating campaign line.

“Not exactly the most inspiring slogan, @dccc,” wrote ProPublica reporter Derek Willis.



“Dems are asking people to vote on a new sticker and I’m not sure anyone in history has been as bad as this,” tweeted Adam Serwer, a senior editor for The Atlantic.


Another sticker slogan referenced Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-Mass.) opposition to Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s confirmation in “She persisted, we resisted.”

“Make Congress blue again,” urged another.

The campaign arm for House Republicans later mocked the DCCC for its sticker.

I've suspected for a while now that they don't even want to win because losing nets them more donations from hipsters and sjw morons. They get more donations by losing and they don't actually have to work or fulfill any promises. That's like winning the lottery for lazy sociopaths.

Nothing instills confidence in me like a political party which advertises themselves with slogans ripped straight from a bad episode of the Simpsons and whose art direction looks like something copied from a commercial for whole-wheat bagels.

All they need to do is get some insipid ukulele and plink-plonk piano music for their TV ads which will consist of a mixed-race lesbian family staring vapidly into the sun for 40 seconds to complete the complete and utter banality of these slogans.

You may be right. Remember, for all their bitching about taking care of minorities and marginalized people, the democrats are run by spoiled, entitled, old-money gasbags who got everything handed to them and are more interested in deflecting blame from their own choices and behavior than they actually are in sacrificing some comfort and status to truly help people who aren't like them.

In other words, the DNC is run by somethingawful LPers.
