Democrats aren't even fucking trying anymore

The campaign arm for House Democrats on Wednesday tried out a new slogan: “I mean, have you seen the other guys?”

The sticker slogan, one of several floated as part of a fundraising effort by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), caused a stir on social media, where many wondered why the party would try out such a self-deprecating campaign line.

“Not exactly the most inspiring slogan, @dccc,” wrote ProPublica reporter Derek Willis.

“Dems are asking people to vote on a new sticker and I’m not sure anyone in history has been as bad as this,” tweeted Adam Serwer, a senior editor for The Atlantic.

Another sticker slogan referenced Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-Mass.) opposition to Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s confirmation in “She persisted, we resisted.”

“Make Congress blue again,” urged another.

The campaign arm for House Republicans later mocked the DCCC for its sticker.

Yes, this is real.

Hillary Clinton wants to play a role in next year’s midterm elections.

That's :islamic: to Democrats hoping to get/stay out of the wilderness in the remainder of this decade.

If they try to force that cunt down our throats again, I think the base will outright revolt. It will also drag down even more Democrats, and you could easily see a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate in 2018.

It's objectively proven she is the worst Presidential candidate in history, as she lost pathetically to the second worst.

I do not doubt the Democrats' ability to ignore Hillary's abject, humiliating defeat and run her for another beatdown.

Despite her "30 years in government" boasting, she has already been beaten down by political newcomers twice. She's easy meat for opponents to take down.

I predict that there'll be a lot of what happened in GA's special election in 2018. The Dems will see a district that "should" be theirs, run some new talent that doesn't even live in the district, outspend your opponent by a factor of 6:1, get most of your money from out of state, and then lose anyway. Hillary running for them would only make it worse, like how she had every celebrity she could get her hands on to help her

The 30 years in government is hilarious. She was a governor's wife (not an elected roll-has no power), the first lady (not an elected roll- has no power, and when she tried something it crashed and burned), a carpet bagging senator where she did no legislation (and voted for the 2nd gulf war), and secretary of state (again not an elected roll, and given so she wouldn't sabotage Obama after he won). So technically she has only been actively hired for 10 of those 30 years, otherwise she's been a tag-a-long.

Hillary Clinton wants to play a role in next year’s midterm elections. It’s just not clear yet what that role will be.
