Yes, as part of my job delivering newspapers. And geocaching is most definitely an outdoor hobby.
Well at least you have a job and go outside.

Which do you like better, Sailor Moon 92 or Crystal?

What do you think of the new character design?

Have you ever see any other dub of the show, maybe the latin America dub which was mostly unedited?

Do you collect toys, maybe the Irwin doll from the late 90s?

Do you search for dojinshi of Sailor Moon, ecchi or otherwise? (I sure do :tomgirl:)

I am a Sailor Moon fan myself and I want to say hi!

I have been geocaching since October 2006. But due to financial considerations, my geocaching activities are restricted to within a radius of 10 km away from my home.

I like Sailor Moon '92 (SM for short) and Crystal (SMX for short) equally. The new character designs are just as attractive to me as the ones in the 90's show.

The DiC/CWi English dub is the *only* version of the 90's anime I have ever been exposed to. Neither the original Japanese version nor Viz's new English dub have ever been officially supplied to me.

Due to financial considerations, my Sailor Moon collection is restricted only to what actually tells the story, i.e., the manga and the anime.

I am completely turned off by porn, finding it rather reprehensible to look at. I do read Sailor Moon fan fiction though, my favourites being Bill K's stories on fanfiction.net.

10K isn't the biggest distance, so it sounds pretty impressive that there's still new stuff to find and explore--especially after doing it for eight years. What phone apps or other tools do you use when you go?

You mentioned that you live on a BC island. Do you get to see orcas very often or are they in another area?

What's your opinion on Sailor Cosmos?
Who are your favorite fans/people in the Sailor Moon community?

For some reason, Sailor Cosmos is really not that big of a character to me.

As my entire fanhood of Sailor Moon has been spent in solitude in real life, no specific fans stand out to me. My interaction with the greater fandom has been confined online. I've never been to any anime conventions, and no contingents of moonies have ever visited my home area.

@The Obsessed SM Fan: Geocaching around Vancouver Island, huh?

Have you ever heard of the Brother XII site on DeCourcy Island, or visited there?

(And BTW: good on you for getting psychiatric help. I'm a clinical depressive myself, and can tell you that the right meds + therapy will change your life for the better, in ways you can't imagine.)

I'm sure that there are DVDs of the Japanese dub available on the internet. I would be surprised if there weren't, given the popularity of the show and the devotion of the fanbase.

And who would watch them with me? Where's the "hype" in that? I'd really like to be able to watch the 90's anime together with other fans.

Do you not have any friends IRL? Or, if they're only online, are not not able to set up a Livestream for them to watch with you?

I have no real-life friends whatsoever. And as Viz does not do linear live-streaming anymore, that kind of setup does not seem appropriate for me either.

What I am suggesting is that you might purchase the subbed Sailor Moon DVDs/Blu-Rays, set up a Livestream channel and invite anybody who might want to watch. You'll be assured in the knowledge that you paid money for your copies, you'll have people to watch with, and perhaps even encourage them to purchase the DVDs as well.

Letting other people in the internet watch what you're watching may very well count as public performance which violates copyright law - maybe The Obsessed SM Fan is concerned about that?

I've not gotten in trouble for it once. Usually it's on a scale so small that nobody would bother to report it.

What do you like about Sailor Moon?

I haven't watched in a long time and I don't really think I could enjoy it as an adult. But when I was in grade/middle school, I liked the romance and the fact that everything's so girly. It seemed more exciting and mysterious than western kids' shows.

As someone who is a huge fan of the show and was obsessed with it for a whole hot minute there, what you are putting yourself through because you can't watch "the officially ViZ sanctioned" episodes or whatever, isn't worth it, mate. It's the internet: shake it hard enough and you can get ANYTHING to fall out. That's how I managed to purchase all seasons of old school Sailor Moon.
Am I correct in my assumption that you haven't watched the whole series? Here ya go. Enjoy. This is how I was able to watch Persona 4: The Animation.

As I have said in a previous post, it is no longer fun for me to watch the original anime in solitude. I wanted to be an active participant in Viz's Sailor Moon party from the very beginning, going all the way back to May 19, 2014. Watching the show through piracy will not give me that experience. My only option at this point is to wait for Neon Alley to return to Canada. In an attempt to make that happen sooner, I have started a petition on change.org. It is at this link. tinyurl.com/NACPetition
