They kind of have a point, even though they're telling on themselves while doing so. Apathy is how a lot of America's problems came about in the first place. Which in a Democracy/Republic/whatever faggy term conservatives use to avoid using the word Democracy, is anathema to its method of governance. Citizens do have to care about issues to supervise them and then spent the latter half of the 20th century ignoring problems. You wouldn't have Common Core Math or Howard Zinn history or Tranny Story Time hour if parents were involved with the curricula asking questions to make sure they were on the same page. Same with local elections and COVID. Neutral people are useless because they are sincere Enlightened Centrists and thus easily browbeaten by commies. Neutral people pretend to value American values, but their revealed preference shows they don't. "What is a woman?" is the logical extension of "What is an American?" People lost the ability to define it and it became meaningless.

If it was that person’s art style, and they just typically drew like that with no agenda? No.

If they were pushing the message that “conventional” beauty norms are bad and we need to see more of that? Yes.

But, gender special is a political identity, so it’s not even 1 - 1. There are no genders but male/female, since gender was the polite term for sex before we started letting John Money take over. A gender special character is inherently political, and meant to challenge norms.

Them believing it’s not a political identity doesn’t make it less of one. Anytime they describe these thousands of genders, it’s always in a sociopolitical sense, never a biological reality.

What they’re talking about is gender roles, but that doesn’t allow them to masquerade as the opposite sex/gender.

Portraying a woman or a man eating a burger isn’t inherently political.

Portraying a gender special, which means you buy into those sociopolitical beliefs and are showcasing that, doing it is.

That's true, but there's also another reason. They want an excuse to justify their shallow political takes injected where they aren't wanted.

They'll take something like Bioshock's "what if objectivism was taken to it's logical extreme" theme, or Metal Gear Solid's commentary on the nature of nuclear weapons, and then pretend their "Drumpf bad! Communism good!" bullshit is of equal value and quality. It isn't.

The "everything is political" discussion is as pointless as the "___ is a societal construct" discussion. It's just taking a general concept of "humans can see and evaluate the world around them in various ways" and then trying to make a hard truth out of the opinion of whoever is considering the discussion.

1. Survival bias, just because they succeeded using this theory, does not mean EVERYONE will succeeded using this theory. or that it works 100% of the time.

3. You need all the info to use this theory, it's not every logical or smart of you to think you have ALL the knowledge.

Dev's looking at Baseyian probability now? It's a far cry from his usual shit takes on current events. Maybe his ego was a little deflated and he needed to do some fart-huffing to restore it; or maybe he's only just read about it and like every other political youtuber is now going to be completely ruled by the last thing he read.

The TL;DR for the Baysian vid was Dev making a huge build up to try and cope about his TDS.

Ignoring that half the shit that comes out about Trump is blatantly false and Dev even points it out, there's still some major disconnect where he can't accept that Trump isn't some malicious retard. Trump is a retard, just not a particularly malicious one unless it's going against team blue, which I suppose Dev can't tolerate. It's funny considering that Dev dislikes Trump's sex pest nature but if he had all the money and power Trump does then he'd be doing the same thing or worse given he's canadian.
