It's not even worth watching yet. The total runtime is like 4 hours and it's a premiere, so you can't watch at 2x. 4 hours just sounds like there'll be a lot of gish gallop and dancing around the points or he includes too many clips. It would probably be way more digestible as a book or document of similar length, but that doesn't make money.

Who exactly is this video for? This is the problem with any of these Eastman Memo arguments. If you are aware of it, and don't particularly give a shit, no video going back over it as the primary claim for why Trump tried to do a coup or whatever will ever convince you. The only people who will watch a video like this, are either people who already hate Trump and just need further reasons to hate him, or people who aren't gonna be convinced Trump is bad. Why the effort on a video that won't convince anyone of anything?

I get the feeling this video is in part a deliberate provocation of Trump fans or those sympathetic to Trump, especially among his audience. I can imagine he'll be coming out with the 'heh, you woke right chudderinos are just mad that I'm being objective and criticising Drumpf :smug:' comments, if he hasn't already.

I'm unsure about the botting, but I left a comment in the live chat saying "4 hours of this but still no trucker video 😭" and noticed that it was not visible when I refreshed the page. I then said "interesting" and this was also not visible upon refresh. When I logged into my podcast channel, I asked about it in the chat and people there confirmed they didn't see the messages from the Aydin account, so either he was speed-running deleting them or he has my whole channel blocked. Honestly, I don't know how the latter works as the most I've ever need do is time-out people spamming. Either way, he's a massive baby.

I similarly suspect the reason it's so long is just him anticipating that no one will watch it. He also promised to do a video "debunking" Curtis Yarvin/Mencius Moldbug well over a year ago, giggling about how stupid Unqualified Reservations is with Adam and Sitch, but apparently has been working on this massive cope video for six months of "research" (read: repeating Destiny talking points) yet cant seem to find time to finally do the trucker vid, let along epically own Moldbug with facts and logic. It's really too bad because I spoke to Curtis and we wanted to see what he came up with in his deboonking. Like/agree with Moldbug or not, he's a very intelligent man and I would have really loved to see Dev try and outwit him. Obviously, I would offer to set up a debate, but given he now has my whole account seemingly blocked from his channel, and because there's no way he would ever accept anyway, that will never happen.

I like watching long videos. But, not like this. This is one of THE most tired subjects imaginable, coming frome the person with the LEAST amount of insight to offer. It's not even useful as background noise. I might as well just re-watch an episode of pathetic aesthetic if I've got the time to kill.

None of the new characters make sense when the original designs were so much better.

This might seem off topic, but it related. The slop trough is real. I'm a Brit. I didn't care about Trump or the 2016 election. It wasn't until Trump won and I saw a video (now deleted from the internet) "the untruth about Donald Trump" which was just a guy reading off headlines, then giving the actual event with sources if needed. Next story. No filler. Very efficient. But hours of content showing headline after headline, article after article, of lie after lie after lie after lie, for hours. I was interested in Trump after that.

This also goes back to the coomer stuff. I guess I'm on team coomer, team anti-DEI, whatever you want to call it. But so many commentators are really bad at it. Lotus Eaters, Hero Hei. Even ones I like Rev and Clownfish TV seem to drag out a video to hit the 10-20 minute mark when it could be done in 4.

Dev seems to be having trolls remorse, but I won't be surprised if he ends up with coomers remorse. He'll still chase trannies online, and brag about it, but if he suddenly becomes a pearl clutcher arguing that games having big tits and few clothes is bad, I'll be able to say I called it. He'll use the low hanging fruit of the likes of Vee to justify it, but it'll be that he's too old and too contrarian. He might not like it, but we're seeing the pendulum swing back hard.
