Like hell that's ever going to happen. It would be great and we'd be guaranteed at least one spergout, but Dev has at least a little sense of self-preservation and probably knows this would only end up embarrassing him.
 
As an aside to Dev, as Arch doesn't have his own thread I'll comment it here, in that he's currently having a civil war with his subscribers because they're very VERY riled up over anything shit in games whereas Arch has the moderate take on games and the left wokeshit. His stick argument is perfectly salient, winning battles and ceding very little ground where obviously unwinnable not to lose the culture war.

I've been lurking this thread for a while and I finally was motivated to register an account. You're wrong, and he's wrong. His argument that Kingdom Come 2 is "90% our game" is erroneous because he hasn't even finished it. It doesn't matter how delicious that slice of pizza you're eating is, if you bit into the crust and it's stuffed with shit, you're a fool if you think it was "mostly good".

And Arch's argument (if you want to boil it down to a food analogy) is that normies don't care about that little bit of shit in their crust, they see it as a non-issue. If you're screaming at them not to eat the pizza because it's got (woke)shit in it, they aren't going to care until it's the entirety of the pizza, like when Failguard was just tranny propaganda. With KCD2 they can not engage in the woke bits (being gay with Hans) and they literally don't care about the insidious shit like muslims and jews lording over christians. They do not care. Arch has rightly ascertained that to tell normies they're wrong and freak out over a game that is by all rights still set in christian bohemia where you can still play as a good christian knight, is a lost battle. It only makes the normies go 'Bro you're weird the game is fine'.
If KCD3 happens it will likely have far more woke elements in it than KCD2. It was a success and so Vavra, being the nasty backstabbing jew he is, will either double down or slink away into a fresh IP where he can start adding woke elements anew. It's then that people on the right can start pointing it out as well as everything from KCD2 in a new light and get the normies on-side. Arch's argument was to pick your battles because the one about KCD2 is already lost, and given that the game is still a 90% white mediaeval larp sim, pushing that it's not is only going to fuck us over harder in the eyes or normies, to the point where we'll be seen as the deranged lunatics in the way the left is, screaming about a single black person making the game woke and looking like a dumbarse. Normies will go 'Yeah but Halo had Sergeant Johnson, and Half Life had Alyx, what's the problem?'
Stick is to be used carefully and strategically. Blanket bonking will only fuck us over.

There’s no reason to be upset with Avowed or Veilguard, if you accept KCD 2.

Normies didn’t buy it because the anti-woke screamed too loud, the anti-woke actually either ignored the game or hyped it up and claimed it’s different when Daniel does wokism. Very few people sounded the alarm, so it got past.

Meanwhile, they beat Veilguard, Avowed, Starfield, Dustborne. Etc. into the ground as what they are/were.
