His most recent weekly seethe has been unlisted I think, but he's working on some e-drama video and is apparently cooking up 6 drama response videos. Looks like he's pivoting to being yet another drama commentary channel.

Basically nothing since the Pirate Software video. The best we know is that he's trying to get another 3 hour long video out, but he was vague on the subject. I think it's about what counts as "canceling" someone, but he wasn't specific and tried to keep it secret.

Does he get more money via minutes watched for one three hour video every other month over one 20 minute video a week, or is he just doing that so he can casually dismiss anyone who calls him out for his shit but hasn't done a six hour video addressing each and every point he made?

There was a video that MentisWave put out a couple weeks back on the hallmarks of midwittery, and this is one of those points he called out. Essentially the tactic is to make your arguments "critique-proof," because in order to make the critique you have to respond to the argument exhaustively - fail to address a point or get a minor thing wrong, and the midwit is free to use that his get-out-of-jail-free card and dismiss the critique wholesale. Dev is absolutely fond of this tactic, both as a deflection tactic in his Twitter politisperging ("watch my 40-hour video, it contains a succinct summary of my points") and as a way to weasel out of it ("you clearly missed where I addressed this topic in the middle of the video between where I was talking about how much I want to have sex with Lillith").

As far as getting paid per minute of ads? I doubt that's even Dev's goal, even though you technically get paid based off how many ads Youtube can stuff into whatever slop you feed the algorithm. But given that Dev failed to deliver on his one and only sponsored video I both doubt that his goal is to make money with longer videos nor that he even knows how to properly monetize any of his work.

Honestly, I figure he's have less of a backlash if he was at least consistent; as that tweet says, him throwing a shit-fit over the people joking about the trans suicide, while excusing Destiny's 'joke' is a level of hypocrisy too far for most.

Texas flooding has killed some people a few days ago. Destiny rejoices and jokes about it probably because he assumes they're white, and definitely because they live in the evil state of Texas. Same for Dev in cases such as that guy who got shot instead of Trump at the rally in PA. They probably wouldn't appreciate jokes about dead Ukranians though.
