Thanks for the Weeding Invitation, Cole, Brother; the recepton was great; sorry our mother and I missed the date. >: (

ANGRY FACE.

Ah, it's amazing that Chris felt slighted enough ,about not being invited to the wedding, to post on his Twitter. I don't know how the contact is between the two families, but I'm willing to bet that there hasn't been any significant communication since Cole tried to get Chris to understand his plight (Trying to find out about his real dad.) and it all went over Chris' head.

Maybe he saw "Four weddings and a funeral" and thought he could meet a sweetheart at the weeding.

I'm curious as to how Chris views Cole. He was told Cole had a head injury as child (from the Jackie e-mails) so does that mean Chris writes off Cole's bitterness towards the family as some kind of brain damage?

"Mmm, got da e-mails from Cole. Hmm ... words... don't know that one... something abouta dad... SIGH. Poor thi-hmm, poor guy is too mind hurted to remember Bob is dad. Imma link- Imma link my slow-in-da-mind brudda my Parappa video so I can win and make Megan my heartsweet. I have a good feeling about dis."

Chris views life entirely through tv tropes.
So yes, he'd have a meet cute at the wedding then marry his sweetheart and go live his life doing a "job"in an "office"

Let us pray that Chris never watches Wedding Crashers, or there are going to be a lot of unhappy Virginian brides in the future.

Cole is a fool for missing out on a great wedding gift such as this. Just think, instead of auctioning off Beer Nights with himself, he could've put that shit up on ebay instead and could've watched us Christorians try to outbid each other. He'd be set for life. :snorlax:

cole seems to have washed his hands of the chandlers. can you really blame him though?

I love the way that middle eye could belong to either character, that's one unintentionally freaky drawing.

Nah, who would want Barb and Chris stanking up their wedding? But imagine the Chandler duo in New York? Holy shit.

You can't go to a reception if you're not invited, Chris....it's the same shit that happened with your reunion.

He didn't find out through the letter, he found out through this forum ~~

Chris is just like us, if he wants to know something that's going on with him, he heads to the CWCki Forums.

So I guess this is wife #2 for cole? Remember in one email he told Chris that barb wouldn't tell him who is real father was the night before his wedding?

The emails, if I remember correctly, never said he was married to Katherine, but merely that he had been living with her for a good while, and dammit, she and her family were a lot more loving and appreciative (suck it, you curs!). So unless he's met another woman of the same name in the mean time, I'm thinking it's the same Katherine.

I think he's securing his position as TROLL Smithey. That he hasn't been officially labeled that is down to Chris not making the rhyme connection yet. Give it a few days.

I know Chris has used that rationalization on occasion, though I don't know how quick he is to think of it whenever he thinks of Cole. I'll guess it didn't occur to Chris this time around.

I think he was just trying to make a rhyme for no good reason. It's pretty easy to figure that Cole wants nothing to do with the Chandlers, and didn't invite them.

Think of it from Cole's perspective: Chris is just a selfish, loony brother who shows you no love or devotion and won't help you when you plead for his help, and at best is sadly autistic but so far beyond help that it benefits nobody for you to spend your life turning the other cheek to him. And Barb, well, we don't know the details of what Cole's childhood was like under her rule... but just watching how she's actively ruining Chris's happiness now, I think it's safe for us to give Cole the benefit of the doubt and assume his childhood was indeed quite unpleasant.

I think Chris just got lost in the moment of drawing the two characters, and forgot which one he was working on at any given moment, so even he didn't know whose eye that was supposed to be.

Really? When was this? The idea of Chris thinking of Cole as mentally deficient is hilarious.

^It was some email, somewhere. I don't recall where exactly. I just remember Cole was mad about something, and Chris was all "hmm yeah, you're just brain injured dhere". It was kind of the same as when he assumes a woman can't be mad for any reason other than that she's on her period.

I assume that he was married a long long long time ago (and that was the only time Chris and Barb went to CA to see Cole), was divorced, met Katherine, was with her for six years or longer, and then got married to her recently.

It was from the leaked Jackie Emails

Your half-brother and mine, Cole, share very similar stories. Cole was
born with hip problems, and later one school day some other kid shoved
him into the side of a bus, hurting his head badly. He was not raised
by his birth father, but by our mother and a step father who is one of
my mom's exes. Cole (to him, regretfullest), gave our mom away at her
wedding to my father. After then, he's left her to seek his carrer and
fortune and whatnot. I met him during our one trip to California where
he was attending college. The last time I saw him was over half a
decade ago at a Weston Family Christmas Party. Now he, like yours,
keeps farthest distance from me and mom in New York, living with his
girlfriend and Her family (possibly married by now) and working as a
Movie Reviewer. Mental Illnesses And Family Cutoff; quite a common sad
story among a portion of the world population. I sometimes think of
him and how he's doing. All I have to do is look up his most recent
"Cole Smithey" video on his website.
