Literally this.

I see a lot of you guys in this thread are saying that you'll stop using YouTube altogether if they successfully break the Ad Blockers. But I wonder, what would you guys use instead?
Ive been using the internet archive for weird video viewing pleasures. That, and I have many other hobbies. I am sure most people are capable of moving on to something different, especially since YT has been getting enshitified over the years which has been gently weaning many users off anyway.
Here, have a weird video

Finally updated ReVanced and MicroG through the Vanced Manager. All the problems I had installing it before were solved by totally uninstalling the previous version, disabling then re-enabling the default YouTube app to it's default state, then installing ReVanced over it.
Seems to be working while NewPipe is still being worked on. Since I switched to NewPipe last time Vanced stopped working I had forgotten how many dozens of "do not show X" toggles you have to enable to make YouTube on mobile even remotely usable. It's been awhile since I checked my custom Ublock filters but it's just as bad there having to block dozens of intrusive elements. Telling you whatever in the video has been DEBOONKED! while citing trannypedia or what the WEF/WHO/whatever talmudic satanist three letter org wants you to think, or shilling the latest dataminer app or selling cheap chinkshit.

LMAO! Just buy a repair friendly phone.

There’s not a lot of them? Welp, guess it’s a tiny market. That sucks.

Apple, Samsung etc has a right to NOT listen to every angry Stallman faggot who thinks they know better, and make devices that 95% want.

Do you also patch your pants when there’s a hole in them or resole your shoes?

Don’t work for any conglomerate, I’m just against some bullshit communist laws that dictate how corporations can make their phones.

If you want a repair friendly device go out and buy one. It’s that simple.

I hate niggercattle like this. They're completely gone in the head and thus rely absolutely on a "benefactual" technology provider who will demand subservient compliance and detestable extortionism. But just to reinforce the point, yeah when something breaks or stops working you're supposed to fix it, mend it so that it works properly again. The "use and throw away" model we live under is a relic from the 1950's oil industry diversifying into consumer plastics.

Meh, get with the times.

When your TV or fridge breaks, do you open it and start pulling out compressors and cathode ray tubes? Or call the TV/fridge repairman?

Nope, you buy another one because it’s a commodity.

Cellphones and computers have increasingly become commodities too.

You may not like it and miss the days where you could open your inch thick laptop and replace the RAM yourself, but those days are gone. People voted with their wallets and CHOSE this.

(Yeah yeah, people are morons and don’t know what’s good for them etc. etc.)

Now the part that’s REALLY goddamn retarded is when one of these Stallman types buys an iPhone instead of some chunky ass nerd phone and goes. “HUUUHN?!? I was told numerous times before I bought it that I can’t change the screen myself. Why can’t I change the screen myself?! This is OUTRAGEOUS!”

Just get a repair friendly phone lil nigger, instead of whining about Apple making phones the way the market likes it.
I hope someone gets the right to repair to your perfectly healthy liver so they drink heavily another 2-3 years

It's the absolute fucking worst. I hardly use YT as it is but how the TV app handles recommendations, which seems to be different than on mobile and desktop, makes the YT "experience" so shit that the last times i bothered with it i turned it off in annoyance after five minutes. No shit, the ads on the TV app are less of an annoyance than the slop YT wants me too watch, the amount of time i spent with pressing "Do not recommend" and it still giving me the same kind of shit is ridiculous.
what are good yt alts for webOS?

I'm taking the bait but this person is obviously underage. Anyone who has owned an appliance and isn't a trust fund faggot has tried to repair it. I have replaced parts on pools, washing machines, dishwashers, and fridges. I even replaced an HDMI port on my TV for a couple bucks.
I can only imagine this level of ignorance comes from being 16 and thinking only a car mechanic can change your headlight for 80 freedombux.

I dread having to replace any of my appliances. This old stuff is simple and easy to fix. My blender is known for having a shitty coupler but the replacement is $2. I tried replacing it and the electronics failed after 3 years so I dug the old one out of storage and it's still going. New appliances suck and are full of dumb circuit boards that simply stop working. Probably because they were programmed to break.

BraveNewPipe had hiccups for a couple of days with the app eventually unable to playback anything.

An update had released, fixing playback issues so far from what I can tell.

Well good luck finding one for one thing.

All/most of them (depending on where you are) went out of business a long ass time ago, since people rather pay 350$ for a new fridge instead of spending 150$ in parts and 50$ labor for fixing an old one.

Just wait. If electric cars succeed on a mass scale, they’re going to be the next mass market consumable that won’t/can’t be fixed. (Aside from tiny things like a headlight that isn’t working.)

You don't know what you're talking about.
You can change the screen of any phone yourself, even apple phones. It's not magic, much as apple would lead you to believe. The nigger part is where apple bribes the manufacturers of parts like screens to not sell to plebs, which has nothing to do with people voting with their wallet. They were voting with their wallet to have a nice convenient phone, not voting for apple to literally break the third party repair market. If it were made clear upfront to customers the duplicity apple engages in to prevent third party repair at point of sale, a certain portion of potential customers would not purchase apple products.

These “right to repair” faggots are like evangelical Christians with how fanatic and preachy they are.

And the worst part is: They act like Apple/Samsung/whatever somehow owe them anything.

You want to be able to repair something?

Go for it! Buy that massive chunk of a laptop that you can replace everything in.

Instead these faggots go out and purchase a laptop that’s literally the opposite, and then whine and complain endlessly that the engineers designing it prioritized a thin design over being able to take out the battery yourself.
It's true. People, I've noticed, have started to have the mentality of "if I whine loud enough things will change." Which it won't. However, what folks seem to forget is the effectiveness of a widespread boycott ala Budlight. I stopped using Apple products years ago for human rights reasons and haven't been back since; even though I really did prefer iOS and the iPhone. You want change, support the companies that align with your personal needs and wants. That is what Google did and now they are the biggest, objectively evil company in America simply because they provided a convenient service, we created the beds we sleep in.

To stay on topic, a boycott of YouTube would be the most effective retaliation regardless of their "defeating" the adblocker scurge. Whether they cave in or don't, the fact that they are trying should be enough for most of this forum to completely remove it from their lives. Yet I know 85% of the people who voted, not using YouTube will use YouTube in some capacity (this includes platforms that are YouTube driven in their infrastructure.) Using third party mirrors of YouTube is like throwing away a vote that actually matters supporting alternative media websites and their creators; not derivatives of a demonic company. It's like the idiom of choosing the lesser two evils, no matter your choice, you're still choosing evil.
