Has Digimon Con announced anything else other than Adventure pandering this year? I mean, Pokémon focuses more on their other generations than Digimon focuses on theirs. And we all know how much Pokémon likes to pander to the first generation. Any announcements of a new Anime? A new Ghost Game season would be nice. There was one plot point that I was hoping they would go back to, but they never did. If Meicrackmon comes back and becomes a partner for Hiro's friend finally. (Honestly can't remember the guys name.)

A new anthology manga project, new manga from Yabuno (V-Tamer and Dreamers mangaka), more info on the Liberator webcomic including a webnovel version, and a novel competition like the manga one they did in 2022.
 
The 25th Anniversary video they showed was pretty neat. It was nice to see X-Evolution and Appmon featured alongside the main series. Compared to previous years this was probably the best Digimon Con, but that's not saying much.

Tbf that's more love than Toei has shown those series in a long time. It could've been filled with even more Adventure!

Does Digimon fandom have any infamous Chris Chan like figures? I know there is a popular joke that you are less likely to get raped in the Digimon fandom compared to the Pokémon fandom. Far I know, child grooming is not a stereotype of Digimon fans.

Many of the lolcows dissappear as Digimon left the popculture scene and I don't really keep up.

That guy's a cow? I know him, just seemed like some Brazillian who likes to cosplay Shoutmon and is apparently a literal fag with a boyfriend, didn't see anything really spergy of him.
 
Mykan was one of my first lolcows and I even interacted with him years ago. People like LordPatamon were worst, as he like to befriend young girls (13-17) while he was in his 30s.

But during the peak of the franchise (Adventure to Frontier) Digimon definitely had some crazy shippers, especially since it the internet and fandom was still only for weirdos.
 
Ken's VA's obsession with Imperialdramon was funny. And his name, Paul Launsberry or whatever, sounds like a white guy character you'd see in a drama anime where the writer kinda gets American names, but not really.

As usual, it was kind of a letdown. I guess if you like the TCG, you ate pretty well this year. But I was hoping for some new vidya or maybe an anime announcement.

It's been getting great art when it doesn't use a generic anime screen shot. The same can't be said for the DBZ or one piece card game

the current Ken VA is a westerner of Korean origin if I recall. But Ken and Daisukes VAs return for the Begining (including Veemon)

Does anyone know much about WtW's community members besides the already-discussed head honchos? Off the top of my head the most interesting ones were:
-wildwing64, one of the main Adventure defenders. It's obvious he likes and defended tri. and the Adventure overreliance so much just because he was already an overly Adventure-special fan to begin with. Britfag and literal Aspie.
-Muur who is also both a Britfag and literal autist. Had a reputation as an AKSHUALLY guy, banned from the subreddit by Airdramon because she found him creepy. Sistermon is his waifu.
-Cardcaptor Takato, who people from the ANN thread may recognize as one of the spergs regularly posting on that dump's forum. He occasionally posts on WtW's forum, but is more aligned with them on Twitter.
-Festus Flare who went on a spergout about how he'd never support Digimon anything ever again because of the Sistermon censorship. Left when (((Marc))) and Vande told him to STFU.
-Forget the name, but there was a fangirl who ships herself with Duskmon who was kicked off by (((Marc))) because she was trying to send WtWers to harass someone that didn't like her ship or something. I joined her own server and got kicked out because I said I like Savers, in a channel she literally dedicated to Savers hate.
