Let me tell you my story about why I unsubbed from Doomcuck. How reliable is Doomkike anyway?
What drama? Did Ryan calling him a fucking retard of all things before cucking out a second later really damage FNT that badly?Let me tell you my story about why I unsubbed from Doomcuck.
One morning several years ago I wake up and check 4chan for news and then head over to /tv/ where I was greeted by a thread from a leaker who claimed to be working for Kurtzman at Secret Hideout, the studio making Star Trekiscovery. The leaker claimed that Kurtzman watched a "youtube critique" of STD and was so angry he punched a TV in the office. It was heavily implied that he had watched a Doomcuck video. The post was clearly a shitpost and everyone made jokes about it. I chuckle and go about my day. I come home that night and see there's a new Doomcuk video. I fire it up and it's him claiming his "sources" told him Kurtzman punched a TV after watching one of his anti-ST
videos. I sighed, did a Picard facepalm, and unsubbed.
I have no idea what he's like now but I can't imagine he has any real sources especially after the Ryan Kinel/FNT drama.
During a FNT three or four years ago Ryan was complaining about people claiming KK was going to be fired any day without directly calling out Doomcuck. Rags from Mauler's crew kept pushing him to get him to say Doomcuck and Kinel gave in and directly called him out for his bullshit. Everyone laughed and agreed while Gary stayed quiet because he was still doing his boring ass CoastToCoastAM rip off podcast with him. Doomcuck immediately began crying and his followers tried to cancel Kinel but it came to naught because everyone in the FNT/Fandom Menance sphere hates Doomcucks bullshit. If you search through RK Outpost's video you'll probably find the couple of videos he made about it.What drama? On a scale of 1-10 how retarded is The Fandom Menace? I don't know but the meltdowns from it are hilarious. The future ruler of Earth has some pretty thin skin apparently.During a FNT three or four years ago Ryan was complaining about people claiming KK was going to be fired any day without directly calling out Doomcuck. I'm not counting Pixar or Marvel. Big Hero 6 was gay, Rio is bland, Wreck it ralph is Soy, Moana is lame, Tangled is cringe, Frozen is for little girls, and Chicken Little walked so Zootopia can run, also that movie is for furries.I will have to agree 2005 Disney
So I lose -UP, Bighero6, Ratatouille, Cars, Rio, Brave, wreck-it Ralph, Moana, Coco, Tangled, before mix-marvel, Live action-Disney Movies, Zootopia,
Wall-e, frozen
Why doesn't Kinel just leave? Is it that Geeks & Gamers faggotry deal keeping him onboard? And what happened to Tom from Midnight's Edge? The FNT crew I'd rate at probably a 5 or 6 on the retard level. Chrissy Meyr brings the show down with her shitty jokes but once in a great while she's funny. Her Frosk and Grace Randolph parodies are the funniest she gets. Kinel is pretty based and tries to hide it but will slip up like when he complained about the $35 billion we send to Israel every year. Odin and Comix Division don't really say much and should probably be dropped from the show. Az, aka FUCKING PRONOUNS, yells a lot and that's about it. Gary is a convicted felon who used to own a famous comic book shop in San Francisco until he started using cocaine again and will say this many times. It's only worth watching FNT when something big happens with nerd shit like The Marvels failing because it's the only time they're close to being entertaining.

I don't think anyone here is claiming that Jasmine's look was scandalous (Aladdin was shirtless, too, and so was the Genie), just that Disney was playing into a very old Orientalist trope about how "Arabian" women dress, and it resulted in an Arab princess wearing an outfit that's essentially the Near Eastern version of a g-string and lucite heels. Some people found that offensive. It is what it is.While those were certainly styles of that time, but Buffy the Vampire Slayer the Movie had the midriff style in 1992, as did Clarissa Explains it All which aired in 1991 and she wore a midriff shirt in her intro for a Nickelodeon show. They couldn't have been seen as that out of place or inappropriate for a teenager at the time, as I don't remember viewing it as scandalous or out of place, just cool and iconic. Christina Applegate also had several roles in that time period where she sported a similar look, though Kelly Bundy was not an ideal role model. The look wasn't pioneered by Britney Spears, just popularized, if even.
Only Sporty and Scary did. Baby, Ginger, and Posh all generally went for minidresses. Also, Wannabe came out in 1996, ...Baby One More Time in 1998. Two years, not four.I mean the Spice Girls predated [Britney Spears] by four years and they also dressed like that.
Nobody was walking around Venice Beach or Key West in a silk belly dancer's outfit in 1992, unless it was Halloween and they were going as Jasmine (or I Dream of Jeannie). Again, @Coo Coo Bird's post several pages back shows very convincingly where Disney's inspirations came from.Jasmine was slightly ahead of the trend, but the idea that someone working on that film saw a teenager dressed sort of like that, especially in California or Florida, where it's hot, doesn't sound that surprising.
After the screening, the team adjourned to an empty theater to discuss the focus group results, which signaled confusion about the end of the film, a problem they would need to solve quickly, as the movie was due in theaters in five months. “Everyone looked right at Jenn,” says Clark Spencer, a producer on Ralph Breaks the Internet who has since become president of Walt Disney Animation Studios. “She said, ‘We got too complex, we wanted too many set pieces, and we’re forgetting about the relationship between Ralph and Vanellope … Lose everything else. It could be funny. It could be interesting. You might love it. It doesn’t matter. We’ve got to track these two characters.’
And as a woman originally trained in live-action filmmaking, she has delivered an outsider’s perspective to the ultimate insider’s job in animation, guardian of a beloved brand that inspires theme park rides and drives toy sales.
In an effort to diversify her workforce, Lee has recruited storytellers from the live-action world
“[Lee] said, ‘I’m going to bring in talent that is going to be incredibly valuable to this studio. They’re going to bring in a different voice and perspective because they won’t have come directly from animation,” says Spencer. “It was a little uncomfortable for some people, because it was a new way of thinking about it. But she knew that, as a studio, we had to shift and change.”
“I didn’t experience the feeling of not having opportunity,” Lee says. “So many people across the industry did and felt that they could communicate with me, talking about the access they didn’t have or the feeling of being ignored in a room. There was this realization that, naively, I hadn’t experienced that. I never was afraid to speak my voice.” Lee wanted everyone who works for her to have that same feeling of acceptance at the studio. “And so I was like, ‘It has to be that way. It just has to, we have to change.’ I take that very seriously, because I sometimes have moments where I go, ‘How did I get through?’ “
That capacity for emotion, said Disney Animation’s chief creative officer, Jennifer Lee, became a hallmark of Veerasunthorn’s storytelling early on.
Lee first took note of Veerasunthorn when they worked together on “Frozen.” Both women had only recently arrived at Disney, but Veerasunthorn carried herself with confidence in chaotic production meetings, where team members jockey to have their ideas heard.
“She would always cut through with something that was so clear and to the point,” Lee said. “If I could see her nodding, I’d be like, I’m in a good place because I can see that Fawn’s on board. She’s a great barometer.”
Development on “Wish” began in 2018, and Veerasunthorn joined the project as head of story two years later. But after the first internal work-in-progress screening, the film was at an impasse.
Star, a character that, as its name suggests, is a celestial body, originally could speak. But a wishing star that provided direct guidance didn’t allow Asha the space to figure out her own journey. Veerasunthorn offered solutions.
Lee recalled of that period: “She was the one who said, ‘This is never going to come together if you can’t feel that what we’re ultimately saying is that this is not just about celebrating wishes. This is about really showing the importance of you working hard to make your dreams come true.’”
It looks like shit, too. Three years of development and there's practically nothing to show for it except some character sketches and concept art.The rest of the article is kind of laughable, like, she saw African comic artists shit-talking Disney and immediately gave them a show that has been pushed back multiple times.
This never fucking goes well, holy shit she's stupid. She focuses on hiring people from the live-action world instead of animation
