I disagree, if anything it seems Disney is pushing Chinese audience away by doubling down on ugly as sin actors, pushing champagne socialism (rather than actual communism) and getting more blatant with the gay.

If anything, modern Disney is dead set to appease the same core audience it had 30 years ago and should have long moved on to their children - wine moms who are uber consoomerist and with massive cases of jesus complex and penis envy (and just regular envy at prettier younger women).
