When it comes to female characters its basically

Screenshot_20240301_113543_Photos.jpg

A lot of women dont wanna consoom movies, comics, video games etc where all the female characters are ugly, mannish and unfashionable, especially not in escapist stuff.

Raven and starfire (literal alien princess with long pink hair) are cute with nice designs and interesting enough powers and backstories so they work, a lot of the female superhero movies marvel is pumping out just have mid women with horrendous styling being boring for an hour, theres a reason why harley quin is probably the most popular female 'superhero' character instead of one of the various beige-brown blobs with bobs in a blue suit. The reason being Margarot Robbie in fun colourful outfits and hair being quirky (and with costume design by a woman that got shat on for being sexist lmao)

Its the same with some games making the female player character ugly for sjw reasons when the actual woman gamers wanna play as a fantasy hottie.

This is very much on point. I like scarlet Johansson in the mcu earlier movies because not only does she fight and speak Russian, she looks absolutely gorgeous. Her cocktail dress in one of those movies where she’s tied to a chair is so cute. I don’t want butch, ugly fat women.

Then again, I think I tend to like more feminine characters in the media I consume-Sansa Stark, Beth Greene, Dana Scully. They’re not physically strong women, but they have their strengths. It all just ties back to assuming “strength” is purely physical. What these sjw writers don’t comprehend is that these hideous, “sassy,” fat women characters aren’t reflective of their audience or what their audience wants.

For starters, they will de-sexualize Black Cat and Mary Jane because "mUh MaLe GaZe!!!" (like in the Insomniac games).

Like, I get the argument that not every woman has an hourglass figure and big tits, and so every single female character doesn't need to have those, but it's a bit retarded to act like no women have an hourglass figure with big tits. You see them all the time if you walk outside on a nice day.

I've also always thought that Scully was a strong woman. I remember reading that she didnt think that Scully was a strong female ccharacter. She thought that the show undermined her and portrayed her as less competent.
She detailed the small ways that her character was portrayed as less competent than David Duchovny’s Fox Mulder, and said she frequently had to push back against outdated gender tropes.
Obviously she has never watched the show. She was always the voice of reason and her battle with Mulder's strange beliefs is what made the show interesting.

the seventy fifth time she questions that it might not be spoopy after EVERY FUCKING WEEK it's spoopy gets kinda tired, especially after the first few times the saucermen knock her up

Most girls I see outside look like that.

More like "Tron: Ass Arse"
You joke, but....
According to Disney, the new film is about “a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with AI beings.” It’s being directed by Joachim Rønning, who previously worked on the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and the sequel to Maleficent

Ok you're a hyper-advanced AI and you're sending a program for the first time into the real world on a (presumably) secret mission to do something. I guess the humans can destroy you still since otherwise you'd just send a bunch of those flying stompy things to get what you need.

Do you disguise the program as a regular shlubby guy so no one will really notice them? An attractive chick so she can more easily get into places and get people to do stuff for them? A gay nigger so it's impossible for them to get in trouble?

Do you name them Jones (since Smith is taken), Lightfoot, Incognito? Anything hinting towards obfuscation and doing a secret mission?

Nah let's make it an asshole, confrontational, annoying as shit "biker" in a red outfit named after a God of War.

Modern writers need to join journoscum at the bottom of the fucking ocean.

Tron could be in a superhero universe where weirdos in suits is common, or the AI could have so little knowledge/understanding of the real world that it couldn't do a stealth mission anyways and doesn't see the need.

It could if we just disregard the first two movies. Which I guess the writers will, so there you go.

Jimmy nuTron

Editing to avoid double-posting, but having a "dangerous AI" with a generic Greek name (Ares, *cough cough* Google Gemini) escape into our hu-mon world feels a bit on-the-nose with the AI fad/moral panic going on. The idea, while sounding like a rehash of Terminator, isn't necessarily bad per se -- I just have doubts the writers/creators at Disney could make it good (hell, they probably can't make a "Reefer Madness" so-bad-it's-good).

Abogail Disney, calling her grandfather, who made her a trust fund baby multimillionaire, a fascist. Is now sucking off Bob Iger because Ron DeSantis and the orange man are bad.

No which sucked, it was actually pretty decent. Soundtrack and fights were fun. I was really interested in the cancelled sequel and how it was going to explore what happens when programs come into reality. The cartoon prequel was supposed to be pretty good too before they cancelled it.

It might be decent but I'm gonna be bummed out if nobody from the sequel or tron is in it. ( Might be a blessing in disguise, I don't know what the plot is)
I was a superfan of Tron: Legacy at the time, but at that time I was young and Daft Punk was in the movie. I got the disc and glow-in-the-dark shirt The movie looked good and I watched it twice in theatres.

Now, I don’t really care about it. Those days have passed.

I don’t know if I should have faith in this new movie. Jared Leto is shit in everything he’s in since Dallas Buyers Club, and the plot seems to be very generic.

Should Sony spider-man movies be counted as Disney news?
This is all very tiresome. There are essays upon essays on why this film is complete shit but women make it easy for themselves to blame “toxic” men.
For starters, they will de-sexualize Black Cat and Mary Jane because "mUh MaLe GaZe!!!" (like in the Insomniac games).

The reality of the market is that coomers and pervs spend money. I mean, look at OnlyFans. Seeing at least a moderately attractive women is enough for them to fork over cash. Busty women and curvy bodies make money. Of course not all female characters are like this, but the prevalence of the former is part of what made them so popular. Even female fans and cosplayers find these characters preferable.

So abandoning them was just poor long-term thinking at least.

Just imagine if characters like Rey and Rose Tico weren’t frumpy people who dressed and looked like men and instead showed more revealing unique outfitting.

Joachim Rønning? Isn't he the guy who directed Dead Men Tell No Tales (or Salazar's Revenge depending on which country you're from)?

I doubt more than a fifth of those who loved Tron: Legacy had even heard of Tron before its release (it was almost 30 years old at that point). Franchise recognition doesn't really matter here, they are gonna be banking on a new generation of zoomers or alpha-babies being baited with pretty visuals.

I go full scorch earth on Hollywood and go full ant-semetic.
Funny thing is. Walt Disney hates communists and gets fucked over by Jews even if all the antisemitism rumors bullshit was started by communists in the animation Union. He might be pro-Palestine. Would the left love him for his theoretical pro-Palestinian stance? Israel has a long history of giving money to communist groups worldwide. Which makes the BLM and tranny worshipping left hating Israel even more funny. The nation has one of the most pro-communist gay population cultures in the Middle East. Muslims were some of the biggest anti-communist fighters in the 70s and 80s. Walt Disney would’ve supported the Taliban and Osama Bin Laden in the 80s. No doubt. Aladdin was on the back burner for years because Walt had a fascination with Arab culture.
