"We are dying!!! We need moneeeyyy, throw all the sequels and remakes you caaaaan!". Even if they turn down the woke (and watching Inside Out, it was woke as hell when it comes to background and character design), the movies are still soulless or rethreads.

Nicest thing I can say is Stitch looks OK and not the uncanny nightmare I was expecting. Everything else is sequels and rethreads. Toy Story has been done since 3 so everything is horribly forced, can't imagine many Toy Story fans will have it in them ti watch 5 after 4 either. Incredibles could have been great for sequels and spinoffs but since the second one was such a huge step down, you know the people that could make it work aren't there.

Also, need to touch grass... read Tron as Troon and my brain took a few moments to parse what I was reading.

Funny thing is Disney/Pixar did this already with Toy Story: Time Forgot. The plot has a boy who ignores his toys to play video games.
Mason is first seen playing his new games console which he got for Christmas, before he notices Bonnie and invites her to join him. She then throws her bag of toys containing Woody, Buzz, Rex, Trixie and Angel Kitty into the neighboring playroom. It is here that the gang first meet the Battlesaurs, along with Reptillus Maximus. He is later seen when The Cleric is observing both him and Bonnie playing video games, and Woody and Buzz realize that while Mason is distracted with his gaming, The Cleric can rule over the Battlesaurs without interference from the boy. When Trixie convinces Reptillus to accept that he is a toy and that Mason is his owner, he turns off the power to the game to get Mason's attention. When the latter goes to turn the power back on, he finds Reptillus instead, and decides to play with him after he sees Bonnie having fun playing with the toy. They then run into the playroom, saving Woody and Buzz from execution by "The Pit," and they enjoy the rest of the day playing with their toys. Later that night, Mason is shown to have written his name on Reptillus' hand, signifying his ownership of the toy just like Andy and Bonnie did. He also appears to have chosen Reptillus as his favorite toy.

TracFon pretty much summed up my thoughts - except my answer to "will this movie be good?" is an emphatic no. Also is it me, or does Chris sound a little.... deflated? Could be because he's getting older, but whoof.

Moana 2 seems good, but maybe that's just goodwill from the first movie clouding my judgement. Hopefully it'll be more like Inside Out 2 and not Incredibles 2.
 
is there a non-woke chart somewhere of Disney movies and shows that identify which ones are gems, which ones are good, and which ones are okay or horrible?
 
Also I find it completely ridiculous that the Navi can keep beating the humans when they don't even have catapults and only use stone-tipped weapons. Yeah, they have big animals but there's a reason humans don't use war elephants in the 21st century. The thing that's triggering this rant is this video I saw in which the mere act of the humans landing burns down vast swaths of land.

Could you imagine what we'd have in over a hundred years from now? How the hell are they losing?
 
Who the fuck was asking for another Freaky Friday movie? Also I just wish Jamie Lee Curtis would retire and fuck off somewhere, I'm so sick of seeing that bitch everywhere.

There's like a dozen movies revealed and literally no original ideas out of any of them. I can smell the desperation and sadness through the screencaps.
 
Peter Dinklage got what he wanted the dwarfs are now badly cgi'd in the new movie. Actual dwarfs are stating that Dinklage purposely made it so dwarfs who wanted to work were unable to get jobs.

They are so out of touch that they can't even come up with interesting derivative works. Where's the Blazing Saddles remake? Or how about the forbidden Mel Gibson movie?
