Isn't Target in financial trouble?
Could it be Disney wants to buy them next?
Wouldn't be surprised if that ever happened, but I would think they should pay more attention to the stores that bear their name in malls first.

The Proud Family was insanely white. So was That's So Raven and the dumb spin-off Corey in the House or whatever the fuck it was called. It was a weird foray into wokeness, in the sense that Disney showed off that yes, there IS black programming on the channel! And also it's acceptable to you!

Inner-city black kids don't get cable. I literally know of nobody who watched The Proud Family. Know a bunch of people who watched Roc though.
What do inner city black kids watch?

Interesting gossip here.. it's mostly Star Wars stuff, but they also mention that Disney might build a park near Mumbai in India.

One of the biggest projects being worked on by Disney that probably isn’t ready to be announced this month is that Disney’s next theme park complex may be planned to be built in India. A few overseas business publications have sniffed around the story that Disney has been working with Indian business and government entities on a theme park complex near Mumbai, and both Bob Iger and Bob Chapek have quietly traveled to India repeatedly for discussions as WDI works on concepts for an Indian castle park and attached resort. But it’s likely still too early to release the formal details on the Mumbai Disneyland plans.

Designated shitting park?

Shanghai was the original Designated Shitting Park.

It can still be the Designated Pissing Park. Most of the stories I've heard about that park are about people pissing in public there.
To be fair I saw a lot of (not using the) toilet horror at EuroDisney too. Like, "hold your kids over the shrub and have them piss" was a surprisingly common approach.

Also last I checked onlines seem to say that Disney + expects to get Legend of the Caballeros eventually with no particular date.

I can understand why they'd go for India next because that's got to be a huge, mostly untapped market at this point. However I imagine it being a major disaster because it'd mostly be visited by upper caste Indians, the only ones able to actually afford it, who would purposely trash the place solely because it's staffed by Indians lower down in the castes and thus they'd be putting them in their place. Or something like that. I also envision fights breaking out between Pakis and Indians, but I could be misreading the entire situation.

Having briefly lived in Europe I can say that in Spain at least it's a pretty common thing to do. It's not uncommon to see adults pissing on the side of the road in the country, either. Like, openly so.

There's also gonna be a ton of groping, particularly if there's crowds. And throwing trash on the ground seems part for the course over there, so they're definitely gonna need extra janitors lol.

I forgot to say it earlier, but Rest In Peace to Future World.
I suppose it's like a loved one who checked mentally out a long time ago but the body was still there, but it's still something to know that it's finally over. It's been at least a decade since I went to Epcot.
I think I accepted that the Future World that I grew up with was gone around Test Track.
Really at this point they're all gone with this next refurb
Communicore, Horizons, The Living Seas, World of Motion, Universe of Energy, Journey Into Imagination, even Wonders Of Life, they were already gone and now The Land is getting replaced with that the Rock cartoon, and Spaceship Earth went to shit with the half-finished Siemens refurb.
You were a part of the random mishmash of concepts assembled into into half of the shambling Frankenstein's Monster with a liquor license that would become EPCOT Center, but dammit you still taught me that the future was really great.
Robot dinosaurs will always be better than Guardians of the Galaxy, and Horizons never killed anybody.

Alright guys, heading out. Anything in particular you guys want me to check out? I’ll only be in Disneyland.
Edit: in line for smugglers run. Wait is 35 minutes. Could be because I came in at rope drop, but I’ve waited 2-3 hours in the cars line 2 years after it opened. Impression: the area is a really nice movie set but as a land its really lacking in substantial things to do.

If Disneyland brought back the Peoplemover (their version of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority ride in Disney World) I guarantee it would be a way bigger success than Galaxy's Edge.

Seriously, Disney Parks spergs love that ride.

I'd ask if nu-troopers really disrupt the line to the lightsaber shop but I don't think there are long enough lines for that.

I dont even know where the front door to the saber store is. Every door looks like a facade.

Go explore the Star Wars section and tell us what it's like.

Already did. They layout it confusing as fuck. Everything looks like a movie facade. I took a few pictures but I’ll take more when i loop back around.
Did you meet Vi Moradi?

Actually, how's Tomorrowland? It's been one of the most neglected sections of the park for years, with two of the most commonly disliked rides (Autopia and the submarine one). I'm curious as to how it holds up now, especially since most of the stuff there was Star Wars. All the Disneyland news I've heard indicates they'll renovate Fantasyland first for some reason.
