BTW did you go to the toy stores? Do they still have their original merch in stock or do they have stuff from Star Tours' gift shop filling some of the shelves? Last I checked, they had replaced several of the og dolls with dolls from Star Tours.
Original merch. The plush toy shop sold I guess what could be described as baby banthas, wampas, taun tauns, and the rest i dont have a name for because they’re sequel trilogy creatures. My mom called them ugly and not very fun looking. Another store sold shirts, jedi and sith robes, larger store deals in prop recreations, I caved and bought me and my SO kyber crystals in our favorite colors. I didn’t go into it but there was a separate store that sold first order themed merch.

I'm aware there were still creature dolls left in the "pet store", but I'm curious if you saw any human dolls or Loth Cat dolls in the toydarian toymaker shop? Last time I received an update on that store, they had replaced some of the dolls with Ewok dolls, Chewbacca dolls and other merch from the Star Tours shop due to a severe shortage of merch while Kylo Ren, Finn and Ahsoka shit remained unsold. So I'm curious if you saw anything like this:

I think I may’ve seen all that at the star trader.

But what about at Toydarian Toymakers? Was it out of its original inventory? Toydarian Toymakers is the crummy little shop with a Watto sign near the entryway.

So, sounds like my trip to Disneyland in two weeks is going to just be the original park and leaving out DCA, which means Galaxy's Edge might be in the cards simply to walk around because really - that's all you can do. If the opportunity presents itself I might grab a thermal detonator drink because it's cheap (compared to literally everything else).

Aren't they banning the detonator drinks because they look like grenades? Although to be frank they don't look much like thermal detonators either.

The two kyber crystals I got were $35 total :(

Initially the TSA banned them, yes, because they looked like replica explosives, but after the brief commotion about them, the TSA is supposed to treat these as oversized liquid containers, meaning either they go into checked baggage or are emptied and put into carry ons.

Yeah, I'm not worried about buying anything from GE aside from possibly the Thermal Cokinators, since those only cost just under six bucks which is probably one of the best values in the park given you get the souvinir container.

You're part of the problem.
Unfortunately. My boyfriend is a massive Star Wars sperg so seeing his face light up when I gave it to him was worth the money. Probably gonna go to a craft store and grab some jewelers wire and make it into a necklace charm for him. The shit I do for love.

and leaving out DCA
Legit question, is it even worth visiting that park yet? I remember when it opened it was just an overpriced old-timey boardwalk that was completely underwhelming when it opened. My mom liked the Rosie O'Donnell show back then, and around the time it opened Rosie went there and brought along Drew Carey and (I think) a couple of his Drew Carey Show co-stars along to pimp the park. They couldn't even pretend to muster enough enthusiasm to make it seem worthwhile, not even when the scam game stands handed them their biggest stuffed animal prizes for basically showing up (that got returned as soon as the cameras turned off).

Ehhh honestly there’s still a half day’s worth of things to do there, sure cars land added a bit more padding but it’s still pretty wine and dine over ride entertainment.
