I was going to say I don't watch Let's Plays but that does remind me the guy plays some crap that I would never touch with a barge pole because they're usually such shit quality. So I guess that counts me in too.

Game Grumps pre-Dan, and both Ding-Dong/Julian and Lyle/PsychicPeebles-era Oney Plays. Those are my shit.

Dunkey is pretty cool too, even though he doesn't make Let's Plays.

I've watched most of the Let's Plays by TBFP. I think I found them with their "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" series. I'd recommend starting with some of their early stuff starting from 2012 (even if you think the mic sounds bad). While most of their stuff is good, they've had some really "meh" series (i.e "Tokyo Mirage Sessions" and "Marc Ecko's Getting Up"). I've gotten bored of them recently, though that's probably because I've watched them for about half a decade now.

The only thing close to a Let's Play that I've been watching recently are Joseph Anderson's streams of the Danganronpa games. He's entertaining enough without being "lolsorandom" like most streamers. My only complaint is that he runs jokes into the ground... like super hard.

Watching a Let's Play allows me to follow the story and evaluate the aesthetics better, see if they appeal to me. Saw Jacksepticeye's run of God of War 2018 and Unravel, All the Shinies' go at Prey, The Rad Brad's playthrough of Dead Space, for example. As a result, once I get my PS4 and a bit more entertainment budget, I'll likely be getting these games. (And redecorating my house in Neo Art Deco style because Prey is gorgeous even for a game about shooting brain-sucking slime monsters.)

Let's Players who aren't very good at gaming tend to make me crazy. Markiplier is adorable, but when he plays anything that isn't a menu-based indie game I find myself unable to even, and move on.

I've watched a lot of Cryaotic's LPs. He was the one I enjoyed to watch quite a lot
If it wasn't him it would be Markiplier, Jesse Cox, OneyPlays, Joel and Vinny from Vinesauce, GameGrumps (Before Dan) and a few random others. I now mostly tend to enjoy LPs or walkthroughs of the silent/no commentary variety. And ones where they know what they're doing.

Also not sure if they count as Lets Players, but VideoGameDunkey and Call Me Kevin are good channels to check out

Pre-Dan Game Grumps, TBFP and sometimes other IF i find them interesting but mostly stuff i can't get get like back in the day i watched a let's play of Yakuza 1 back years before Kiwami 1
