Do you like listening to music that's in a language you don't speak?

This is like, French and shit. (The band is Swedish I think.)

Then there's this.

If this doesn't hit you in the feels you're basically an inhuman autistic monster.

I absolutely love Irish Gaelic music, I wish i could speak it fluently but it's quite hard the learn.

I'm pretty keen on old Ethiopian jazz music like Mahmoud Ahmed's Erè Mèla Mèla/Mètché Nèw.

One thing I do not get though is artists who include one or two non-English tracks on otherwise entirely English albums, like Grimes' Art Angles. Track 3 just seems really out of place with it being in a completely different language to the rest.

Carlos Núñez - Capitán Nemo (starring the late Ronnie Dew of the Dubliners)

Tráthnóna Beag Aréir - Clannad
One of my favorite songs in Irish Gaelic

I don't even know what the title means but this song is just divine

I've recently become interested in Welsh folk music, especially singer-songwriter Dafydd Iwan. This is one of his most well-known songs:

I don't particularly care what language a song is in if the sound appeals to me in some way. Some favorites:

Funny story about that last one: I barely know the words to the English version, but I have this version memorized. Whenever I hear the song at work (the Muzak New Wave station plays it all the time) it throws me off. the English version doesn't sound right to me, even though the music is identical.

I find I prefer it for some genres. I like metal music (I don't know enough about the genre to pin down what specific subgenre it is that I like), but metal lyrics are often so cringe-inducing: either they're super violent or angsty and it just kills my interest in it. I've tried listening to instrumental metal, but it's not the same. So if I can't understand what the singer is singing, I can't be turned off by how annoying it is.

I can relate so much.
Also, I remember once how I translated some of Megadeth's lines to a guy who was playing it non-stop, he told me to shut up because I was ruining the experience for him.
