Do you like listening to music that's in a language you don't speak?

I'm not really into Vocaloid/UTAU stuff, but this song is nice.

Mari Boine Persen is is a Norwegian Sami musician renowned for her voice and her propensity for experimentation. Avoid her (easiest found) RealWorld album Gula Gula, which is full of "white oppressors stole our land" grudge-wanking. This is from the album Bálvvoslatjna (Room of Worship).

Yes, I enjoy listening to Rammstein even though I don't speak German. I look up the translations though so I at least know what the song's about.

Yeah with German stuff I can look up the lyrics, and since German has similarities to english I can remember the english lyrics if I here a song enough.

Can't believe not putting on anything Brazilian throughout the Olympics. This one is from a really classy album by Celso Fonseca:

I enjoy listening to them and Dschinghis Khan.

Funny thing is, my German friends mostly hate Dschinghis Khan, so on the few occasions I have played their music for my friends and asked them to translate the lyrics for me they've facepalmed and asked me why I enjoy that sort of music.

Heroes del Silencio are basically Spanish Pearl Jam:

The Pillows mostly sing in Japanese, apart from the engrish choruses that are really popular in Japan for some reason:

Here's some Dschinghis Khan BTW. The lyrics are in the video description.

I like jpop and kpop. I think that the Japanese language just sounds pretty with music.

Kpop is just so over the top dramatic that I can't help but love it.

This song never gets old

Music's one of those things that transcends language barriers. I would highly recommend listening to at least one song in a different language. :)

I love EXO.
Never don't mind about a thing, ye faggit.

Their latest music video is killing me 'cause autotune.

If it sounds good, sure! Just have to imagine what the artist is singing about instead ...

The title "Blood Type" or "Blood Group" refers to the blood group sign soldiers had on the sleeves of their uniforms in the USSR; you can still see it in Ukraine and Russia (not sure about the latter). The first words of the chorus, for example, literally mean "blood group on my sleeve". So, this song is basically about being in the army.
