DOTA 2

There's predictions in main menu which can reward you with an arcana. It's top 10%, so I would say the chances are pretty good. There's also Dota+, some Immortal sets and a discount for some physical Aegis.

For fantasy league just use this guide:

Re-roll tiers and stats till you get the most desirable ones as described here:

Then pick the best player for your stat based on this guy's data in the link above.

There's also second part where you predict which teams will do well. Does anyone know if there's a knowledgeable player to copy off of? I don't follow the pro scene at all and just want the rewards.

I tried my damndest to play with a Russian friend of mine who is a total stoner and only plays Shadow Shaman and Ogre Magi pos 4.

Last hits creeps in lane because "he just needs like 200 more gold for Arcane boots, bro", builds Midas first, then goes straight Aghs, and before he can buy anything else (probably a Dagon instead of a Mek or Pipe) games are often already over because either we get our shit kicked in from minute one or the enemy team has an equally clueless player on offlane and I get out of lane at like 7/1 at minute 10 as Luna. There was never an inbetween.

Takes Fireblast at lvl 1 instead of Ignite to smack people around, never contests last hits, never tries to deny, doesn't pull or stack camps. Like I said, a total stoner that after 2000 hours of playtime has no understanding of how the game works and only plays it for the pretty colors, funny moments and having a game to play and chill in with friends. Sometimes I wish I could be as relaxed as him, but then again, someone has to play carry and actually try to win unless we want to get fountain camped by a Russian smurf stack for the 10th game in a row.
 
If you can't out last hit him, then just pull and stack the jungle for yourself instead of fighting your lane mate.
